As a shorty, I always have to alter straps and hems. Thanks for showing me how to do it properly. I'd like to see a nice way to shorten the straps on a sleeveless top like a tank top. Cheers.
Fabulous! Thank you!! I have very little experience sewing but following you brief step by step tutorial saved a myself and a bunch of my daughter’s friends money in alterations this year for prom dresses.
The same technique can be applied but would require checking that there is excess strap for you to work with. Otherwise you would have to replace the entire strap with a longer one, also using the same technique!
