  • this is my RJ I'm titling it 58 wheel horse with a couple different variations to it. I did a lot of this restoration before the Internet was super popular. Lots of time and money went into this. My late adopted parents got this for me when I was 15 or so I'm now 43. I had a lot of help restoring this dave file and his team did the body work and paint (fike sandblast shop laotto Indiana) Jim eberly of Lagrange Indiana a bunch of wheelhorse guys. and my late dad Craig Bottjer. My wife was the one who pushed me to get it done. C and p machine out of fort Wayne Indiana did the motor work. It has a 4hp Kohler motor. an original motor for this machine. a Clinton was also an option. The seat flip was an option along with the tool box and fenders. We use to have 2 of these I took this pretty one apart and had an old friend Dustin Roberts replicate my steering for that one. The other one has now made it to its original family but if it wasn't for me that thing would never have steered and it didn't steer when my dad got the thing. I have photos of the cobbled steering on that thing. 😂 the lesson I learned on this one it's not necessary to take every bolt screw and nut off when restoring a machine.
