FMS Rafale 64mm First Flight
I love this jet one of my faves. I think a 3200 is too heavy. 2600 is the best I've had in it. And I shove my battery about 3 qtrs back underneath the hatch and it high alphas like a monster!
Its pretty crazy for a 64mm. I havent heard anything bad about it, and people who like that high alpha stance dig it. The closest I have to a delta wing is the Yak 130 and I love how it slows and comes in nose high for landings.
Ryan always brings us the latest and greatest. Great flight showing how well this 64mm performs.

I see Ryan doing full speed downwind, carrier break(roll & yank 180° to approach, dumping speed) , doing a sweet high alpha pass!
Higher rates may give stability mode more pitch for high alpha..
Reflex seems good for knocking down the roll (& pitch) workload in high alpha so one can focus on the throttle dance!
Great Rafale 64 action and a Hobby Shop where you can fly next to it. What a concept.

Great looking flyer! Big sound and presence for a 64mm! Seems pretty light on the wingloading, ya you were nose heavy, but she flew well!

*Those delta wings can roll like a drill bit! That'll be quite a nimble plane for someone who wants to wring it out, light on energy retention compared to bigger ones, so perfect for park-flyers too!

This jet is outstanding. It's my first edf. I'm an awful rc pilot and I can fly this airplane. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this model as a first jet. Very well behaved. I don't know how you managed to get that plane off of the ground, though, with that big battery all the way forward. I fly mine on 2200's. Nice and light.
Recommend, No Gear, Battery back a bit, to Achieve some High, slow Alpha, . 3200 may be a bit heavy for Alpha Show.

have you ever flown it without the Gyro? how well dose it fly with out it???
I love mine, no wheels i hand launch . See fat guy flies rc 64mm rafelle hand lauch video for technique, no hand holes required, Works every time for me. Glides in no problem. I fly off grass so wheels no really an option.
