@5:05 the weapon did not level up that is why none of the stats increased, it fill 3/4 of the EXP bar only. If you look the weapon remained at level 5. did no one notice that or was it an over sight?
I've noticed that in some Missions, I've picked up these *Stat boosting Capsules* (Ex: Capsule(STR), Capsule(CRG), Capsule(SPD), etc.) Which raises a specified Stat by 1 point. Which is A LOT FASTER and EASIER than spending Credits. The Question is: Where can I farm more of these Capsules?
I loved this game up until I got to this part! Upgrading skills and weapons shouldn’t be this time consuming. It takes you out of the game. Great tutorial. Platinum Games should have done a better job explaining this. I had no idea what I was supposed to do. So does it mean that the Autobots can only use the weapons if their CAN EQUIP icons light up? The icons appear, but they seem greyed out and others light up.
Yep basically that's what it seems like ,the ones that are lit up can equip the weapon the ones that appear darkened out or a darker grey means they can't use it ...but yes I HATE this part of the game cause I don't understand it ,it's too confusing not enough explanation or not made simply enough, feels like you have to guess at this stuff
They just basically increase the parameters of the weapon/equipped character like increased headshot damage, focus time, vehicle mode speed, etc. But the only skill you DON'T want is Defect, which decreases its attack power. My advice for it: If the weapon is worth keeping because of its high rank or many skill slots, synthesize with the skills you want on it until you can replace Defect.

I'm sorry but this is a decent guide but items do not get "sold out". You're simply at the cap and can't carry anymore so use your items guys.

what does it mean when a weapon is highlighted red?
It means the weapon is synthesized at least once.
What exactly do those skills do?
