I think I'm going to go through my old jeans and try this :) For future reference though, when using those hammer in jean buttons, use a piece of scrap denim folded over like 4 times on a hard surface and hammer on the little nail on the back instead of the front. It works a lot better and your button stays pretty too. I learned that when I worked in alterations. :)
I love it, I wish I was talented enough to make clothes but the the last time I used a sewing machine I sewed right through my finger it hurt like hell so I think I'll stick with drawing, painting and tattooing but I love watching April make clothes because she is just talented.
April, I would love to see a simple thrifted transformation on how to make flare and boot cut jeans into skinny jeans. I have several I need to do this too. Also a quick video of hemming jeans would be way helpful too.

I found even buying cheap clothes online and revamping them is fun too. like buying a cheap pack of shirts and doing all kinds of things to them is fun. ive studded entire arm sleeves and I get so meny questions so even if your not as talented as April you can still find a creative and unique way to recycle and revamp stuff :-)
That zipper attachment has a place for the button to put in - on the singer heavy duty you have to pull a bar in the back down and forward choose zipper put in place and the singer does it all .. its just getting used to it but so simple once you get the hang of it- glad i bought a singer Cheap at walmart for $248
