As a big fan of endeavor This was the shit. I was surprised this fight was so impressive compared to shoto fight. Great fight, great ost, great animation. Bones animators love doing fire. There is something to be said that the author made endeavor go through a mental experience of the endeavor that loathes weakness is the one we need for this fight. The monster that climbed to no 2 spot in search for SuperHumaness. I wish the anime copied more panel from manga and didnt leave some of them out all the time. Endeavor referring to himself from his first name would be so personal and powerful to see. Nobody calls him by his first name

that moment between Touya & Shoto you wanted never happened because that relationship was never there. They had no bond, no connection. Shoto doesn't even know Touya's favorite meal. But I get what you mean. I felt the scene was portrayed perfectly for what was there
25:39 they hav3 confirmed multiple times that since Shigaraki ha a modified body (like a Nomu) he's for sure stronger than All For One. Then the rank would be #1Shigaraki #2All For One and everyone else Is under them (Endeavor, Dynamight, Deku, Hawks, Shoto are all pretty strong but don't seem enough)
Just to give a perspective of why this AFO fight works. His original body is way weaker than when he fought All Might in season 3 and ofc even way weaker if compared to Shigaraki's. He is not only against Endeavor, but Hawks and now Tokoyami and Jirou and even then, they only managed to beat him because the vestiges of the stolen quirks revolted, so he couldn't use them properly on top of losing his mask. Endeavor beating him here was great imo and fits the position he is at right now, even if he needed help. However now AFO used Eri's rewind so we will see what happens...
Hiro Nakamura from the TV show Heroes, I remember that character, in fact Hiro makes some references to another character from the anime Jojo Bizarre Adventures, Dio brando
After Touya attacked Shoto when he was a baby out of jealousy, Endeavour did not allow Shoto to play with his siblings. Fuyumi and Natsuo started getting to know him after he got into high school so there was little to no interaction between Shoto and Touya when they were kids. The only connection between them was the fact that they pretty much got the most abuse since Endeavour was so focused on training them :)))
I think that the reason why the vestiges of the quirks were able to revolt against AFO is because the quirk he currently has is a copy of his original that was transferred to Shiggy.
At first Endeavor just seemed like a side character for somebody to compared all mights power with to show the gap, then he showed up a little more showing some moves and I thought hey this guy is not bad, but not my favorite.. when he fights the advanced Nomu that's when I was like okay, this guy is a straight up boss and now I don't even have words. One of the best characters in many animes.
And when all hope seemed lost, the number one hero did the one thing he knows how to do successfully, and he brought the heat! Yeah, I’ve been saying this all a LOT lately, but Endeavor’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done and go head to head with some of the strongest villains in the world. But as a person, he’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and do the bare minimum to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to do what he's been doing. All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him. In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society.
I know what you mean about wanting more play up on the childhood thing, but to he fair you kinda gotta have a willing listener to build it up more than deku did. Tenko was affected by it but not nearly enough to make him want to live.
Not true. Prime All Might is on a whole other level, in terms of physical strenght. Shigaraki never managed to change the weather with a punch. He is as strong as KAMINO All Might, not Prime All Might.

Did you forget all for one only has a COPY of the quirk AFO he gave shigaraki the original quirk and shigaraki isnt growing he’s adapting to the current situation so his body will adapt to the best possible form in order to keep him alive which eliminates the quirk singularity theory that will eventually kill regular people with quirks their quirks get too strong for their bodies to keep up and will eventually kill themselves
Endeavor has one of the hypest OSTs in anime. Period.
