Hey what's up Ian, love the show, been listening for a few months now all caught up. Huge Gianni and Power fan since the jump. I was born and raised I Central Falls, Rhode Island 2 blocks away the Wyatt where you were being held as a matter I have friends that I went to school with that actually work there. If you know anything about C.F it's real place special when I was coming, I have done some time in Rhode Island prison.. I have 31 cases and been picked up on 50 warrants over the yrs. Definitely not proud, but was a big part of my life in the past. Love what your doing keep up the great work! Can't wait to see more in the future. Thanks Walter Debarros
Would be cool to see you do a interview with Michael Franzese! And maybe some international guests in the future, love your podcast! Came across it in the fall of 2023 but i had to go back and check more of it out! Your progress is insane! Greetings from Norway
ian don't cap like gianni couldn't play you because of the tatts. if anything he wouldn't play the part well because you looked like an out of shape 16 year old when you got locked up. btw props on turning your self around and getting into shape. you look soooo much healthier and toned now compared to when you got locked up.
When I was in jail, we would "hotwire" the tv cord, we were in a dorm situation, and we would watch OZ after hours. The guards pinched us and tossed us all in the hole.---also, if you like this, youll probably like this ruclips.net/video/iKDWo7CAzVs/видео.html
I played hockey too until I got beat to a pulp up in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan...and that was it for me. The Canadians are Serious about their hockey, and that's when I bailed. I was 17. But it does toughen you up to become a performer. And it did. I was able to work in network news in disaster situations, and always be calm. I was able to work and film in serious dangerous protest countries, although I will not go to Afghanistan or Haiti because they shoot writers who document their wars. It's an international code not to, but they do. This relates because what a very violent sport athlete with an academically Ivy league and the pedigree to get in MUST be Mr. Perfect. Any flaw, and you are not admitted. And blemish, and you will be disallowed. So in truth, Ivy is reserved for only the children that went to private schools and are involved in the blue blood of society. I have dealt with the Ivy for years. So this guest was able to take he was not awarded, and transfer his energy to something else he did. And to shoot inside a live prison, requires well disciplined crew and cast. So nice episode. Very off topic, but still interesting.
