@@mtndncer It seems so. My TSLA was doing very well only a few months ago, or less, and now I am in the red. I may buy some more (I have picked up some at around $190), but I'm going to wait to make any further significant investment. And if Nicole was my wife, I probably wouldn't even much care about the price of TSLA....but if the price of a Tesla dropped another 10%, I would buy her a Tesla. No, wait. I would buy her a Tesla even if the price went UP 10%. I would want to see my attractive, money-babe wife with nice hair driving a cool car that reflects our values.....or...something. Although, heck, she probably already drives one.
Anyway, I'm trying to take a longer view these days on this company.
Leave the stock picking to the experts (like Cathie Wood 😂). Buy index ETFs and chill.

@@brethitmanhart275 I hear you loud and clear. But if only 5 stocks are going up and everything else is going sideways or down ... that means most people are only going long those 5 stocks. When this happens it makes the price of the stock go up. If you look at NVDA for example does it really warrant a 38 times forward price to earning multiple. IMO should the economy slow way down (the Fed's goal) these companies are valued way too high. I look at things in the tech world in the eyes of what happened right before the Dot Com bubble. I realize none of those companies were mature but so it is a bit different. My point is that for P/Es to be as high as they are now... Future earnings will need to be spot on for the next 5 years. I do not think the economy is going to be good for the next 5 years especially with the debt that everyone is holding.
