In this video, we go over how to prepare the airbus for landing and allow the plane to take us all the way to tarmac using the FMS and autopilot in conjunction.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re already working on it but I’d love to see a series like this on the Cirrus Vision SF50 that recently came out on MSFS!
You missed the procedure for activate the autoland for a smooth and real landing or deactivating the AP before reaching MDA. At reaching the FAF (final approach fix, * in Charts) activate the autoland butto leftside next top the MW (master warnung button) the. The plane lands automatically smooth you online need Go deacticate AT (autothrust) and be sure you real trustlever on our Joystick be at Idee before deactivating. The set REV(thrust) and Boom your perfectlly down 😁👍
Vor/loc will only privide lateral guidance, so the plane will only allign with the runway, land will provide lateral AND vertical guidance, so the plane will also descend according to the glide path
Don’t have to until after crossing runway threshold. It was a little strange the way he turned it off with the mouse. Ideally have A/T disconnect mapped on your throttle/yoke as it is in real life. Tap it off and bring throttle to idle just as you flare.
Absolutely fantastic video. Best FMC/ILS tutorial I've seen for this A310. Thanks ✌️
Im just gonna continue crashing into the ocean. My smooth mammalian brain cant understand half this stuff lol
You're not the only one
It’s very simple
I love the World Travel livery. "'Mom, can we have a Pan-Am livery?' 'We have a Pan-Am livery at home."'

What is the significance of the Auto Land button/light in the cockpit?
Very cool! What about an RNAV approach, can it also do those?
What did you use to get that approach plate? I cant find one to get the info i need to input.
Nice. Never seen an A310 in real life, strangely.
Yes they are very rare as there super old one of airbuses first aircraft made
your videos are awesome P Gatcomb

I am having a hard time trying to find frequencies for ILS and CRS just like on 3:27 i also can't find charts for a some specific airport.
Navigraph, ChartFox, ProSimToolKit, Airnav, Simbrief, Little Nav Map and some others.
Same here , did you find any solutions?
I am confused about where the part 2 video which is switch on the engine etc
What is the difference between the vor/loc button and land button?
Vor/loc will only privide lateral guidance, so the plane will only allign with the runway, land will provide lateral AND vertical guidance, so the plane will also descend according to the glide path
@@Cool737pilot thank you for explaining
Sure he has figured it out by now but if auto pilot gets turned off you can stop the warning by pressing red button on flight yoke.
I was wondering if you were supposed to turn A/T off when doing this. Did you actually have to do it right before touchdown or what?

This was way easier 10-18 years ago😂 this have gotten over my head and on top of that I was use to Boeing and hands on landings😆
Hey Bradley is 45ish min from me, KHVN even less than 10.
