Butterfly Sky (Garage Song #1 of 150)

There is an annual folk festival near Kerrville, Texas. For years, it was more commune than commerce - I’d have to remind them to take my ticket.
This song was inspired by seeing an abandoned tour bus on the property that had the name “Butterfly Sky” on it.
Maybe it belonged to some folk act from the 70’s. Maybe their bus broke down while they were booked to play the festival and maybe that was the last straw - maybe they gave up music and got real jobs.
Maybe a small part of this is autobiographical.
