How is this game-changing? This is EXACTLY how everyone learns to conjugate in Spanish. They learn the endings for -AR, -ER, and -IR verbs and apply them. Then they have to learn the irregular verbs as well.

You still had to memorize the conjugations for ser and estar to apply that pattern because ser is an irregular verb.
