I like my dreamstation one... I got the refurbished model and it works great and I think it's one of the best designs
Also, I think if I were to get another machine I like the f&p

I'm a Resmed user for Central Sleep Apnea - mainly because that's the supplier the NHS uses where I live here in the UK.
I'm disappointed that Phillips is getting out of the CPAP game and that Fisher & Paykel are pulling their machines.
Lack of competition on equipment and price will not be good, and I don't get on great with Resmed masks.
The F10 was comfortable for me but is no longer sold, both the F20 and Air Touch 20 are uncomfortable for me, and I can't breathe through the F30.
I may buy an F&P Vitera, but I don't like the way this is heading.
As always thanks for the great content from back home in Western Mass.

Well said, yeah, it's looking like it will become a monopoly for many years to come. Perhaps Lowenstein will be game to enter the US market but as you said they have to gear up to defend patent lawsuits since Resmed is gonna want to corner the market.

Never heard of that company. I looked up their machines and look great but looks like it doesn’t have heated tubing option. That option is very important not only to the end users but to the prescribers as well.

@@USAMedicalSupply They do have heated tubing, using the integrated Hybernite style hose. They are also the third and only other vendor that produce an advanced ASV machine in addition to standard bilevel devices so they're definitely able to compete at all levels. The brand also manufactures their own ventilators and masks as well.

What about uploading data into the cloud with the ability for a sleep doc to change settings and print compliance along with the DME/HME?

@@USAMedicalSupply Not too sure since I don't own one but I'm sure they have that. When I was looking at getting one I saw they have a very comprehensive data analysis software called PrismaTS. They also sell a lab titration machine called prismaLAB. This brand is very popular in the EU and I'm sure there are similar compliance requirements over there.
