In effect as a bank/finance house your ‘sharia compliant’ mortgages are either ‘sharing the risk and reward’ as a co-investor or your offering a fixed cost of acquisition thereby providing ‘certainty’ to the buyer as opposed to variability caused by interest rates. I think this approach would appeal to many non-Muslims too😊. Interestingly, interest is also forbidden in the Bible too, in fact prior to the 16th century interest could not be charged, due to Christian ‘sharia’. It took a heated debate and a close vote in Parliament to change this.
Everything is correct, but please do not tell people to seek knowledge from their local imam. In Islam in order to seek knowledge from someone that person needs to be a scholar, a scholar will hold Islamic qualifications, they would have attended Islamic universities in countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia etc... The local Mosques imam are just few people that memorised verses of the Quran, and not all times but sometimes they do no hold any Islamic qualifications recognised by the Islamic councils, and most local imams are known to add their own stuff to the religion, make up their own stuff and add it in because they feel that's good or they believe in a lot of stuff that isn't true but they heard it from their teacher so they think its the truth, even though it isn't mentioned in Islamic books, they are basically a bit like Christian priests add in and make a little bit of whatever you think is correct.
Your comment wasn't really necessary, if a lay person was to ask their local imam and that imam didn't have the islamic finance expertise, they would be well placed to refer them onto someone that does. Let's try and stay positive here

That is what I was trying to say, you clearly didn't understand or don't have experience with local mosque imams who mostly do Bidah (innovations). Kitman is deceit by omission Tawriya is deceit by deliberate ambiguity Daruna is the deceit through necessity (to engage in something haram to exploit non-muslims) Taysir deceit through facilitation (I.e making things easier: telling a revert they can still drink alcohol until they are ready) Muruna is flexibility or temporary suspension of Shariah, making Muslims appear moderate until numbers are high enough to enforce Shariah.

I want to use these texts as a tafsir to the Quran. It will make Christians and Jews fall in love with every ayah. "Bismillah, Al Rahman, Al Rahim" is a tripartite saying linked to "In the Name of The Al-Rabb, The Kalimatullah and The Ruh Al Qudus" (Exodus 34:6) Titus 2:11-14 shows that Jesus is the Al-Rahman. Here is why. The Qur'an doesn't go against Monophysite Christology. The Begetter is the Father's Spirit (Rahim/Haq). The Father sends his Spirit upon his chosen ministries (Surah 40:15) only *BY* The Begetter/Rasul/Rahim/Haq (Surah 3:86 & 9:128) and this Holy Spirit/Ruh al-Qudus (not Jibreel) brings down Good News from The Lord (Surah 16:102). The same Begetter became present as Yesod by Kadmon (Surah 58:22) Allah = God Ruh al Qudus= Holy Spirit Muhammad = Jesus Qur'an = Perfectly Preserved Word of God made flesh by the Ruh into The Messiah. Many Muslims are going to have their hearts warmed this year when the realise Allah's two right hands are The Kalimatullah and The Ruh Al-Qudus. The Kalimatullah becomes The Shin when He returns to make the world His footstool. But why? You need to know that I am a Mubashir- A preacher of Good News. That is what the Injeel means. This now means that the all authority is with the Christ (King of Kings). As the Messiah was sinless it balanced out the divine weighing scales. Jesus freely gave his life on a dead/man made tree and offers eternal life. The Udhiyah for all mankind. This is how God can have full justice for sin but be all merciful; by allowing Jesus to post your bail. Ibrahim being told to bind his son was just a foreshadowing of the conquering of death by God's eternal word made flesh (Jesus is a real living Quran). 🙏 ❤ Salam to you.

Hi Samuel, I enjoy your content and the valuable information it provides. I have also read a couple of your books on the subject of property so keep up the great work. Opening up alternative ways to invest in property for other demographics who want to avoid usury is on the face of it good whilst also making money from them for yourself. However by supporting this part of sharia law I am curious what other parts you support or want to facilitate...polygamy perhaps? I am also curious that in offering this service does this make you subservient to the sharia law system operating in the UK. As if it is a law it must be up held, if so by who? And what are the consequences for non adherence? Food for thought. Do you offer the same deal structure to NON Muslims or is it only specific to that religion? Also how does this fit into the UK legal system? (The only true law of this land).
All three aspects are part of Islamic finance, but the problem is that most financiers get the underlying terms and conditions wrong, which makes it un-Islamic. Even the so-called ‘Islamic banks’ offering ‘HALAL mortgages’ often get the terms and conditions wrong, so it ends up being no different from conventional finance. Just labelling something as Islamic or HALAL doesn’t make it HALAL unless the terms and conditions are correct and in line with Islamic laws. As a suggestion, maybe look into having this finance reviewed and accredited by a group of Islamic scholars who specialise in finance. That way, Muslims can have more confidence in the service you’re offering. If the terms and conditions are correct, then the finance will be HALAL. That said, I do appreciate the effort you’ve made to make finance more accessible to everyone. Wishing you all the best!

As Muslims taking and paying interest is forbidden. Because the core principles of interest is taking money from the poor (those who need it) and giving it to the rich (the bankers) where as in Islam you have to take from the rich and give to the poor (zakat)
A Asset or transaction you can make money on like a profit but you can’t make money just off money,it’s usury ,the Jews in the old times invented it then it was forbidden when the prophet Muhammad was sent with the Quran and shariah law as people before became enslaved from borrowing money on points . It penalizes the poor whose efforts are exploited. It's inequitable as the poor take on all the risk. Paying interest also makes it more difficult for the poor to build wealth. Instead, it can trap them in a never ending cycle of debt.

Genuine question to Christians. Usury was a sin in Christianity. Evidence:
Exodus 22:25
"You shall not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury"
Leviticus 25:36
"Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee"
Deuteronomy 23:19
"You shall not charge interest on loans to your brother, interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything that is lent for interest"

As an honorable Muslim reading this I know you haven't abrogated the Quran. The Quran never states that it abrogates the Torat, Zabur and Injeel. Instead it is a Guardian/Muhymen. I want to use these texts as a tafsir to the Quran. It will make Christians and Jews fall in love with every ayah.

Many Muslims are going to have their hearts warmed this year when the realise Allah's two right hands are The Kalimatullah and The Ruh Al-Qudus. The Kalimatullah becomes The Shin when He returns to make the world His footstool. But why? You need to know that I am a Mubashir- A preacher of Good News. That is what the Injeel means. This now means that the all authority is with the Christ (King of Kings). As the Messiah was sinless it balanced out the divine weighing scales. Jesus freely gave his life on a dead/man made tree and offers eternal life. The Udhiyah for all mankind. This is how God can have full justice for sin but be all merciful; by allowing Jesus to post your bail. Ibrahim being told to bind his son was just a foreshadowing of the conquering of death by God's eternal word made flesh (Jesus is a real living Quran). 🙏 ❤

Opening up alternative ways to invest in property for other demographics who want to avoid usury is on the face of it good whilst also making money from them for yourself.
However by supporting this part of sharia law I am curious what other parts you support or want to facilitate...polygamy perhaps? I am also curious that in offering this service does this make you subservient to the sharia law system operating in the UK. As if it is a law it must be up held, if so by who? And what are the consequences for non adherence?

All three aspects are part of Islamic finance, but the problem is that most financiers get the underlying terms and conditions wrong, which makes it un-Islamic. Even the so-called ‘Islamic banks’ offering ‘HALAL mortgages’ often get the terms and conditions wrong, so it ends up being no different from conventional finance. Just labelling something as Islamic or HALAL doesn’t make it HALAL unless the terms and conditions are correct and in line with Islamic laws.
As a suggestion, maybe look into having this finance reviewed and accredited by a group of Islamic scholars who specialise in finance. That way, Muslims can have more confidence in the service you’re offering.
If the terms and conditions are correct, then the finance will be HALAL.
That said, I do appreciate the effort you’ve made to make finance more accessible to everyone. Wishing you all the best!

As Muslims taking and paying interest is forbidden. Because the core principles of interest is taking money from the poor (those who need it) and giving it to the rich (the bankers) where as in Islam you have to take from the rich and give to the poor (zakat)

A Asset or transaction you can make money on like a profit but you can’t make money just off money,it’s usury ,the Jews in the old times invented it then it was forbidden when the prophet Muhammad was sent with the Quran and shariah law as people before became enslaved from borrowing money on points . It penalizes the poor whose efforts are exploited. It's inequitable as the poor take on all the risk. Paying interest also makes it more difficult for the poor to build wealth. Instead, it can trap them in a never ending cycle of debt.
