wow the pace of this game is INSANE! somehow they're playing aggressively yet going at mach-9! 90s-early 2000s NBA on NBC is undefeated! thank u for posting this game!
Lakers had a psychological advantage over the Spurs at this point. They literally trailed in all five games IN THE 4TH QUARTER and came back in all but one.
I think NBA on NBC failed because they literally didn't have a scorebug. It was so obsolete that NBA on NBC lacked a scorebug especially as late as 2002.
The Final year of NBA on NBC...The best network that held it.
Last year they were in the Alamodome too
The great Spurs-Lakers rivalry
The final game played at the Alamodome.

👍
This was the 2nd of 4 straight years (2001-2004) the Lakers and Spurs met in the playoffs.
They would have met for six straight years if Duncan was healthy in the 2000 playoffs vs Phoenix
Great games were played by these two teams I miiss those days😢
Just like the Rangers vs Astros

Please enlighten.
My God I Miss Kobe Bryant 🙏 🙏
The more i watch 90’s 00’s nba i realise draymond would basically be malik rose if he played in that era
What a great game. So happy I found this channel. Throwbacks to the day basketball was truly great. Keep them coming man
👍
the 2000s MC Hammer pants were so ridiculous, another reason why ratings went steadily down after 1998
Great basketball back then. None of this 3pt chucking bullshit we have today😢 Defense was allowed to be played, great times...
This matchup was the real NBA Finals of 2002, not that Sacramento series.
thanks alot for the classic!!
👍
keep on bringing old games! love it! Saludos desde Argentina!

Back in 2002 playoff WCSF:San Antonio Spurs had led the LA Lakers in this 4th period in all of 5 gms(but the Spurs win only once especially in gm 2)
The Lakers owned the Spurs in the 2001 and 2002 Playoffs
I may be biased but this has to be the best era of the NBA.
Best NBA days.
Uncomparable to contemporary anti-sport circus .

That final ball for Spurs with Manu would be so easy for him to make the shot.
This was a war!
