Good build! I feel like you're sleeping on Green Balance though. Poping Vines on yourself is so valuable by getting lifesteal on all the enemies which applies Toughness on your group. The frozen gates you use is a great idea that ill use now!
I know you gave suggestions in the video, but I already use leaching and Arkasis on two of my other tanks, and I'm trying to have a unique set up on all my tanks, would Frozen Watcher from Depths of Malatar be a good substitute

New to the game. Is the atronach tank vid still viable, or is this brittle build more advised? I made a warden but not sure which guide to go for. All I know is I want a tank focus with healing support somewhere in the kit.
Hey, welcome to eso! The advice I give you is: do NOT follow any build from xynode, ever. Those builds, despite what he's advertising, are meme builds and teach you everything wrong. If you want actually good tank advice, go check out the Tank Club, or Hyperioxes.
As of right now, the Nunatak AOE DOT does not contribute to Azureblight. I also changed the setup to include Vateshran sword and board front bar, Blackrose ice staff back and the DOT there is also not contributing to stacks of Azure, despite the description seeming that it should.
I've been running this setup for years with leeching it's a fun fun build. Want to see it's full beauty run a vet Dark shade 1 (full group) and run to the 1 st boss and tag everything along the way, by the time you get to the boss, it's like rice krispies popping all over. Get through the 2nd boss then run to the next boss, tag everything and watch the show. Can also do skyreach and get the same effect. On newer dlc (shipwright and newer) had some issues on vet/ HM. I had to drop azure set on the bosses for more survivability. Never ran it on trials. I have soled the 1st pull in N HRC was fun. Can get to the 2 nd pull until the healers come out then ya stuck due to lack of dps. I have a ult Regen Necro off tank, but I can see how it can work well, but I feel leeching while train pulling will do more damage then 2 other dps ults will do. It's a must for sure. Oo. Another train pull direfrost run to the 2nd, then 3rd, then 4th bosses... Fun. The end. Hehe.
@@Titansdragon75 I am not on at the moment, but it's not a one size fits all tank. The beauty of this build it's very flexible. With this tank I strongly suggest not pugging newer dlc v or v hm. I have a steady group of people and when I run with this tank, they adjust as well; run echoing vigor etc. I drop frozen gate and add a heal ability (lotus, mushrooms etc). As per sets, I drop azure, there are many options either to keep the theme winter respite or going with leeching theme with bahraha curse, damage and healing type set. The real main issue is the vomit or the beams, (my experience) I turn to plague Dr and go all health and get through it. With shipwright and corral you do not have to to go extreme lengths just keep an eye on your stam cause you'll be rolling a lot. ERE and Root did it once V on this tank, never went back I hope this helps some but mostly it's not a one fix for everything. Almost forgot, on the vomit, beam phase, I had to use the tree ult every time. Err anything else I think of I'll post. Again, it's worth the transmutes to build this tank ..

Yes, I just finished it today and it a blast of fun. It gave my warden a second life.
