Classic American breakfast is scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast and orange juice or milk. These are just kid snack for family's on the go.
I'd trade grits for the hash browns about half of the time.

A lot of people are hating on Pop-tarts but they were in my breakfast rotation (along with eggs, etc) when I was a kid. Add some juice, milk, fruit, and/or sausage and it was a decent breakfast. I still cry for my discontinued Dutch Apple Pop-tarts--now that was a tasty treat.

At summer camp we made pizza bagels every year, but it was like an actual bagel with pizza sauce and cheese on it, not those cheap tiny things. And yes we ate those for breakfast unlike some of the other commenters.

Take the mini waffles, a flavored cream cheese, say strawberry, toast the minis in the toaster, and when they are done, spread with the cream cheese, and Viola! Instant breakfast sandwich! My kids used to eat them with a glass of milk from breakfast when they were in grade school. They loved them!!!

Some of these foods are typical breakfast foods for when you don't have time to cook in the morning on weekdays. while the others like the hot pockets and pizza bagel bites are for lunch or a snack. And on the weekends when people have more time that's when we have eggs,bacon,sausage, pancakes/waffles and or french toast and hash browns.
The lactose is broken down during the fermentation that makes the cheese (Assuming it was real cheese and not manufactured cheese).

I love Pop-Tarts and I agree that the crust is extremely satisfying. I remember eating Toaster Strudels as a child; they were so delicious 😂. I never had these items for breakfast but I have tried most of them as snacks. This was fun to watch! 😊

I think the average instant American breakfast is package oatmeal or a cereal bar with fruit. Or like bagel with cream cheese or toast. And that's if you were in a rush. What they are eating would be like snack food or maybe a collage student's breakfast.

hot pocket help: heat w paper thing on for a minute. Take it off and slice it down the middle till fully cooked :) good to throw in the freezer in case of laziness or you get snowed in

i like these but i'm not big on breakfast food. all i really eat are egg sandwiches. though usually i don't eat breakfast. i also don't like dessert too early in the day. except cake. cake is always good. well i say that but the frosting usually makes me sick if i eat too much. i don't really do frosting or cream cheese. too much for me. i love all of these things though.

Lol I feel lucky when I eat "American breakfast" because I usually eat oatmeal and a boiled egg every morning for breakfast (every morning since I can remember 😭) because my mom is one of those moms who make you wear like 2 jackets in autumn.

As a pinoy canadian living 45 min north of USA like most people breakfast is eggs bacon toast fruit coffee/Tea or in a rush TIm hortons for a egg wrap and coffee like starbucks in the states ....yes we have starbucks here too

Blech, the only instant breakfast I eat in the morning is oatmeal since I'm a college student and don't have a kitchen in my dorm. No one even eats pizza bagels for breakfast-- most people I know either have eggs, toast,a granola bar, or oatmeal for breakfast, or they go without (I don't understand how some people can do that).
I can't even remember the last time I had a poptart or toaster strudel, and I don't think it was even for breakfast last time. Sure, some of these instant "breakfasts" are kind of tasty (mostly the strudel-- I'm kind of craving that now), but they're not energy-sustaining. Prior to losing 30 lbs. a year ago, I was eating stuff like Eggos and poptarts for breakfast nearly every morning, and I was always hungry just a couple hours after eating them (I would have 2 of either).
I really liked the idea of this video and it was good but I was really disappointed that there wasn't more Mia. I watch these videos for Mia. I need my Mia fix

I remember being so excited when we 1st got pop tarts in Australia and begged my mum for them and after a few months of begging my dad did the shopping for once and I managed to con him into buying them for me and cryed because they were so horrible when I finally got to try it. I was probably only about 7 or 8 years old and I was so devastated by the taste. Then my grandmother made me home made pop tarts from a recipe she made up and they were the best but I was only aloud to have them as a dessert.
Or my birthday breakfast.
I think it was because they were so overly sweet and artificial I didn't like them as at the time we didn't have things that were that artificially sweetened. Also my nan made hers with home made jam and pie crust.
