‘Maula-e-Kull’, is a testament that less is more and no person more apt to recite this than the maestro, Abida Parveen. With minimal production by music director Shani Arshad and lyrics that pierce through the soul, penned by Sabir Zafar - the idea behind the composition was to have Abida sing this heartfelt prayer without a rhythm or tempo placing the expressivity of her vocal prowess at the forefront. Using the classical raag played on the Sarod and a sound bed of percussions, Abida enthralls the listener with her vocals that are strikingly immersive and instantly captivating. The track builds up to ‘Haidari-am’ - the poetry of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar - a part that was suggested during the jam session and composed by Abida Parveen. The segment opens with a bass line and transforms into a dhamaal using the dhol as a backbone to create the rhythms played at shrines utilizing the western instruments and a pop/rock feel. #CokeStudio9
I’m a Hindu but when she sings ‘Maula’ my soul just cries out to my Sai begging for forgiveness and asking for his blessings. His face and energy just manifests in front of me. God bless this spiritual talent always. 🙏

Ive been lately listening all urdu songs...and no one can stop me from admitting that Urdu is the most beautiful language in the world. I can feel every words. I am nepal and a hindu but I really do wanna learn how to read and write urdu. And speak as well.
prajwal dhakal brother if u can read hindi then its easy to learn urdu. As both languages are different mostly in its form of writing. One is arabic(urdu) other one is Sanskrit (Hindi) if i m not worng.
Keep listening dear Prajwal. You will continue to learn the beautiful Urdu. We were in Nepal ( enjoyed it immensely ) and almost everyone in Kathmandu and Pokhra could understand and talk to us in a mixture of Hindi and Urdu.. If you use mostly Arabic / Persian equivalents of Hindi, it becomes Urdu.

He was one of the 4 greatest companions of our Prophet (peace be upon him) and also one of the greatest Khalifas of Islam. Every Muslim must love Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) with respect. I find crying literally impossible except for the zikr of Ahl ul Bait (AS) or leaving my village. An elder passed away last month and with him died our link and connection to the place I love the most and it has hurt me personally in an indescribable manner yet I still could not bring myself to a single tear drop but soon as I heard the first verse, a stream of tears flooded my eyes.
