Emo acoustic songs from the 2000s such as Ever So Sweet - The Early November, Call it Karma Acoustic Version by Silverstein (featured in one of his songs), A Year From Now by Across Five Aprils, Screaming Infidelities by Dashboard Confessional (featured in one of his earlier songs), To the Moon and Back by Dead and Divine, A Sweater Poorly Knit by mewithoutyou, Staplegunned Acoustic Version by Spill Canvas, The Ground Folds by Senses Fail (Featured in one of his earlier songs). I could get closer if you're after stuff with distorted guitars instead of specifically acoustic.

@@spencen686 Right now all I can think of is All These Things I Hate by Bullet for my Valentine and Autumn's Monologue by From Autumn to Ashes. Latter is all acoustic with female vocals but the first one fits what you're after. I'll have a think and come back to you.
