A stewardess who forced a passenger out of his assigned seat would be putting her employer at risk of a large lawsuit. Doing so on a US airline would risk facing Federal charges; it's a safety risk.. Even fiction should be plausible enough to not jar the listener, reader or viewer. IRL the airline would have terminated Sarah for cause, even if David asked them not to. Does anybody know whether the cockpit has a roster of deadhead or otherwise off duty flight crew, in case of emergency?
As a Black American, I've flown first class a few times and I've never been disrespected or questioned about my right to fly in first class.
As sun rose on JFk! Where did the plane land?
London!
