i never got into izone, but after hush rush released, one of the b sides, aquamarine, was actually my most played song on spotify last year. ive been really liking her stuff.
Y'ALL! Listen! When I started watching Produce 48, I was mainly focused on the Japanese members (since I was a huge AKB48 group fan before getting into K-pop.) Chaeyeon was one of the first Korean trainees, if not THE first, to grab my attention thanks to her dancing. Since then, she became my Korean bias in IZONE (and ofc I also loved her sister Chaeryeong, who became my ITZY bias.) Her dance style is so captivating and fun to watch; you can just see how much she loves it every time she's performing. Knock made me incredibly happy as a follow-up to Hush Rush and a great showcasing of her dancing skills since Hush Rush was a bit more chill.
Chaeyeon is known for her AMAZING dance moves, so many Koreans were very unhappy with Hush Rush because the song couldn't adequately capture Chaeyeon's dancing capacity. Hearing Knock and seeing how leveled-up the choreography has become, many are happy that Chaeyeon's agency is responding to the audience's feedback! :) Really happy to see that Chaeyeon's getting the support she deserves!
Chaeyeon has a cute history predebut with Chaein from Purple Kiss and Chaeryeong from Itzy, they went on a competition show as a group of 3 together when they were babies! Chaeyeon and Chaein actually recently went on a radio program together too, reunited!

I would really like to suggest you dive deeper into the PRODUCE series from the 101 all the way to Girls Planet 999. All the contestants that participated as well as the respective groups and soloists that came about as a result after these series ended. It could drive you crazy with the amount of content you would have to watch but I believe it would be worth it.
