Duke -Area hire, comp set up

With under a few weeks to go until Hartpury Working Equitation…here a little update on our training!
Tuesday night Sheila Jones and I hired the unicorn to have a practice run though. Aiming to set up a mini competition atmosphere with loud music and the bonus of a Mike for “DJ James Dudley” to introduce us and have a play with. Along with mum & friends in the stands moving around and making distractions for the boys to get use to.
A big thank you to Sam at The Unicorn Equestrian Centre for being so helpful with the arena hire. Kindly changing the date as I was injured, Setting up the music and generally making us so welcome!
Also to Sarah, Erin Baldwin & Alex, mum, James and Nigel for helping be a crowd. With umbrellas, arm streamers and Djing…. moving round in the arena and gallery acting, crowd like!
Duke was a little star and just got on with his work, enjoying the music and attention. Sniffing the speakers and mugging the crowd for cuddles and snacks!
Sheila and Aro were super brave to, making the night such good fun and so beneficial for Hartpury.
Great to set up a few WE obstacles to! Working progress but having fun training.
Getting really excited for Hartbury now. I feel I’ve done my best to help us both with what I could. Working round my injury, causing us to miss a few things and then the lorry blowing a diesel pipe! Thanks to J.S Commercials(Jack) for coming out late to fit it, so we made it here!
