    I love the interagency of Block 5 and being precise. Unfortunately I haven't started my blocks yet because I have had to wait on delivery of my background fabric, but now I'm ready to go, yay! I'm using Country Rose, which I love.
    Thank you for the very comprehensive videos they are a great help.

    I originally was attracted to Jill's videos, because her name is the same as my daughters... GREAT easy to understand time cutting video. I especially found the questions and answers very helpful.

    I would sure love to see a video on how to machine applique on a circle like in a flower. I struggle so much with that and of course that was the thing you didn't do in this video. Do you have videos showing machine applique on cirlcles?

    I see there is this way with using the glue and then the web fusion. Is there a difference, or are they pretty much the same thing?

    Does the monofilament you used to apply the shapes melt under the iron? Does it get brittle over time with use and washing/drying?

    When you stitch with monofilament thread, do you also use that in your bobbin?

    Is this invisible thread nylon? Can it melt when we iron later? Please help. Thanks.
    God Bless your work - very useful.

      Hi Jebby - this thread is 100% nylon and proven not to melt under your iron. Click the following link for more details: www.aurifil.com/products/monofilament Thanks for your question.

      You might be thinking of polyester thread ~ that melts.

  • @cherinay1

    Why don't you use the nylon thread in your bobbin?

    • @FatQuarterShopTX
      @FatQuarterShopTX  9 лет назад +3

      It could be because of the tension or stretch of the nylon thread. We have found through experimentation that it works better with 100% cotton in your bobbin and nylon on top. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
