Wish my Dad was still here. He was a Vietnam veteran who died from agent orange. We used to restore muscle cars & classics together. Our last project was a 71 C/10 stepside. Beautiful truck I still have it...
Very very very nice truck!! Love my 2004 ram with the 5.7 hemi!! 240 thousand miles and still runs like new with no check engine light!!!My best advice for a system in it is do your own charging circuit with a external voltage regulator..Unplug that factory controlled charging and wire up the external voltage regulator..I never drop below 13.8 13.7..Thats at red lights...When driving always at 14.5 14.7..And im pulling 350 amps of current from my monoblock ...Thats with a stock 180 amp alternator..
Dads first brand new truck in his life was a 1987 Dogge ram 100 . Ole 318 was still running over 300k... good ole trucks. I'm not putting no system in that thing. He can't hear as it is 😂😂😂
@deasnutz9965 that's a beautiful truck I would not put a system in either..very very nice...I've never owned a new car or truck in my life..I bought my ram 8 years ago for 3000..This one when I was flipping alot of cars buying them cheap fixing and reselling...Would even go to auctions...I miss it sometimes...I think this truck will be the last truck I ever buy...I've dumped so much money into it that it only makes since to keep fixing anything that breaks..Plus I don't know if my old ass has it in me still to build another one lol..Did all the work myself it's never been to a shop and never will go to one..These hemis are damn good and reliable in my book as long as u take care of them..I do oil change every 3 thousand miles on the dot...Royal purple full synthetic with wix filter..mine takes 7 courts so I use 5 quarts of royal purple and then the other 2 quarts lucas full synthetic high mileage..So far I've had great luck at 240 thousand miles now orginal engine and transmission
Sweet this will.make for a decent build..will it be all your equipment hopefully. So I just watched the new video from the West Coast at smd design And they just now after market deaden the roof of his son vehicle..and I'm watching it and the did nothing to glue the broken support that go from side to side..they just used deader on them..and I'm like wtf..you are a aka pro and didn't try to fill and reglue those back bones to that roof..like no pl ,no foam, no kraken no nothing...just some second skin if I'm not mistaken they used nothing but second skin and went over all the braces and then filled in from there..I was very disappointed at there approach to this..very amateur..like wtf..yes it going to help some and die down some rattle and shake but eventually that sht is going to rip at the seams and start to rattle n roll one again..waste of time n material... And then they did the hatch..and he thought since he did the inner skin and outer it was the best..and then put it all back together.. I was laughing my a$$ off.. Very sad and amature job..like wtf I thought Steve new better..granted what they did will work for a bit..that until it rips at all the seams near the cross braces.... Any go look at it and get a giggle..
I'm not putting nothing in this thing. Dad can't hear as it is 😂. But , I did go watch the video. Good grief. That FREE second skin is a miracle worker . I wished I would have known about that stuff ... I mean I'm sure it won't move or rattle a bit in a little scion..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Thanks for the update. I liked his amp burning video too.. He is probably trying to beat a Bruce lee....its not happenin ..watts per dollar 😂
