  • The 01/06/2024 marks the end of an era for the late Ken Lawrance's business: "Inflatable Testing & Repairing Services Ltd." (or ITRS Ltd. for short) established in 2002 after Ken sold "Supa-Bounce Ltd." to "Jumbo Inflatables Ltd." which are also now no longer in business.
So to mark the closure of ITRS Ltd., a short ceremony took place at what was the "Supa-Bounce Ltd." UK factory in Hinckley in Leicestershire which is now "The Artisan Centre".
During the ceremony, the "Supa-Bounce Preservation Society's" chairman: Chris McGeady does a short speech with his sister Julia, his mother Teresa who was filming this video, the late Ken Lawrance's daughter: Kate Lawrance, the late Ken Lawrance's son: Steve Lawrance, and 2 out of Steve's 3 children: James and Isabella in attendance.
Also at the ceremony was a recently refurbished and restored 1980s "Supa-Bounce" 23ft X 20ft Camelot Castle which belongs to one of Ken's long term friends (who is still around at the time of filming) and was actually the very last commercial grade inflatable to be repaired and restored by Steve Lawrance before ITRS Ltd. closed its doors for good after the 01/06/2024. However, the age of "Supa-Bounce" never really ended, it's just evolved, and today, "Supa-Bounce" lives on in the form of the "Supa-Bounce Preservation Society".
And finally, Chris had an opportunity to have a quick bounce on the Camelot Castle.
