    Both ambient occlusion and global shadows can be used in CS2 to spot enemy player's presence before you actually see them. Thanks to CS2 finally having real time shadows and occlusion indoors. Having shadows on low is factually putting yourself at a disadvantage.

      @@EagleFPV43 it's never about fps. It's about game to render latency. most of the time when ur game feels choppy latency is the issue not fps. I would happily play with 100 fps locked with 10ms frame time. I play with 150 fps and my frame time jumps around allot especially when nades are poppin.

    • @EagleFPV43
      @EagleFPV43 5 месяцев назад +2

      @ahnafrayeedahmed yh i rarely have more than 20ms latency. Op was stating that fps affects it, which would only be true at extremes like 30fps where it doesn't update fast enough to display fast actions from the enemy

    To the new CS players and those who are returning from a long hiatus, welcome home! Remember to always think positively, especially when you meet certain grumpy trolls who do nothing but talk trash. Don't take the game too seriously and don't rage over a lost. At the end of the day, we're all here to have fun and a famous quote from CSGO: Hey, sometimes your opponent is just having a really good day

    when I first started out, I sucked at aiming and shooting. but I tried my best to understand game sense and patterns, and even if I lost a duel or got myself killed I was able to help the team on a macro level in terms of positioning and area control. don't be one of those people who prioritize getting kills above all else. even if you suck at aiming, you can still be an asset to your team just by having decent positioning and game sense.

    • @dirtyconsole2247
      @dirtyconsole2247 3 месяца назад

      Everyone is bad. Even people who have 200, 400, 600, 800 hours and so on. Everyone has something to learn (I’m considered new af at 240+ hours). Everyone messes up their shot or lineups or utility throws. There’s always a mistake to be made and a lesson learned. Occasionally, you may do just about everything right and still just get outplayed or overwhelmed. I say play the game and always always stick to a mindset of “what can I learn from this?”

    • @dirtyconsole2247
      @dirtyconsole2247 3 месяца назад +1

      My best advice by the way is to, apart from the bare minimum basics, learn one map that’s in the competitive selection such as mirage. Learn the callouts, peeks, utility throws, routes, angles to hold. That’s for specific maps.
      For general game knowledge and skill, lookup aim training maps to download from the workshop, practice “counter-strafing”, aim tracking, crosshair placement on the head, spray patterns for the AK47, both M4’s, MAC-10, MP9, UMP45, USP-S, Glock, P-250, Five-SeveN. As you may observe, these are non-snipers that I recommend sticking to.
      I would generally avoid the SSG-08 aka “Scout” because it’s a particularly difficult gun to use that becomes quite strong in the early game once you’ve acquired a hefty amount of game sense, aim training, and mechanical skill.
      You will also want to learn economy, which you can find tutorials for here on YT. Just look up CS2 economy guide. A lot of the information from different sources say a lot of the same things so it’s hard to go wrong there.

    The Pros are so far ahead of the average player! Absolutely true.
    This game has been there for so long that people who had been playing it from the beginning, or for a long time, has almost mastered it. Newbies and average players will be completely obliterated, and may even lose interest to continue playing anymore.

      yup. From what I've gathered in my 10+ years of CS, pure aim will get you to about MGE-DMG. Anything higher, is slightly less reliant on aim because generally higher ranks already are good at aiming so its not a standout factor.

    This game is difficult. I was an old CS 1.6 competeter, so my muscle memories from CS 1.6 is making things fairly difficult, it's not the same game that's for sure. What is difficult with CS2, and CSGO I presume, is that to get a head-shot you really have to hit an enemies head right on, no room for errors, and if you miss the headshot you will try to spray, but the spray in this game seems to be none existent, so what you are left with is one-tapping only, and it's really difficult. In the end you have no idea where you have the game, and you get no flow with it whatsoever. Not to mention the sound that is completely confusing.

I usually open the match by telling I am starting again and them to call orders but even when I am doing well in a match people just rage. How are you supposed to get better when everyone just flames? I understand it's annoying when someone is clueless in your team but then it's your job to make them at least somewhat useful. I have been learning the nades and trying to support my team at any cost and slowly getting back at it again. Love the game, community could use some work haha

    Always was curious about csgo but didn't want to buy it back when one of the versions cost money. (source? 1.6? I don't remember) and never really got into it. By the time it was free I had no idea what was going on and just got owned while still Trying to buy.
    Pubg still my game but I may check this out now.
