I can literally see the BIG question marks above your head. You got to be a pretty old German to really feel that song. It's an old folk song from Prussia. My mom had to flee from east Prussia during WW II, she barely survived. When I was a kid, she sung that song very often for me. It is a sad song but with a lot of hope for a better life. I always shed a tear, hearing that song! 😢
Haven't heard the song in ages, never heard Tills version or seen the video yet. Still knew the lyrics after all this time. Also really like Tills version of this song and the video is quite something for sure.
I watched this as a fan of David Garrett. As soon as I heard Till sing I fell for him! His voice👍♥️👍. The song showes the crises people had to go through: World War I, the Spanish Influenza, the breakdown of the financial system in the 30ties, Nazis arising, World War II. People reacted by taking drugs, alcohol, killing themselves or others. In Corona time Till brought some comfort with this song that also Richard Tauber sang, Till's favourite opera singer. 🤗
I loved this the first time I saw and heard it - it's even better after learning more about the history of the song. Till is a remarkable true artist in so many ways.
I love your Rammstein reactions and I love your channel so much. You’ve got a great understanding of what’s going on in all those videos and songs. Love from Turkiye 🤘🏻👏
This video goes over the head of 90% of people I've seen react to it. Most give a wtf and give no opinion or even laugh, which none of it is meant for comical effect at all. So it's good you atleast put some thoughts together on it. It's very artistic and "art house like" so it's lost to most people I'd say
The most comments here told you very important facts in the meantime , so I only want to tell you, there is a "making of" and David Garett is speaking about the work . It maybe very interesting for you, hope there are translations for you there. Greetings from Vienna - I love this Voice so much !!!
There's a lot to take in in this video. As you see the start and end of the video is in colour, the rest is black and white. This could be his drug trip essentially from injecting himself at the start. Maybe having the thought of killing himself to be with friends/family who are no longer alive. Obviously there has got to be some sort of symbolism in the puppet. The puppet gets some "freedom" if only for a little while but in the end it just loops around again and Till is drinking again with the puppet. Maybe some sort of metaphor for depression perhaps.
Or for hell? I've always thought that, if hell existed, it would be some sort of loop of your worst moments in life. Maybe he lives his suicide over and over and over again after having killed his family? Could it be?
Incredible lucky, confident or ill-advised? Mr. Garrett put his Stradivari into the room with Mr. Lindemann - boy, that guy has balls … for those interested - there’s a making of 😉
The bazzazian remix of this song (Alle Tage ist kein Sonntag / Weinen sollst du )goes really hard! i knew the remix before listening to the original, those two cannot be any different
It's Art not Entertaining. A sad song from WW2 as Germany was heavily bombarded and the people asks should I kill myself or just stay strong and keep on.

This Song is Feat. David Garrett , a World class Violin Player from Germany .
These are both great Musicians .

Wow, wow, wow! Till you hit me once more. Didn't know this one. You always nail it. (feat. David Garrett!)
I love the homevideo where Till sings this song beside his Christmas tree and instead of David Garrett his young niece is playing the violin.
This was Til gift to fans in lockdown, Zoran Bihac is mastermind of the video
And he even features in the video as well.
Definitly
There is a "making of" video for this that you should watch. It's hilarious.
Greetings, I’m a big fan and I have a request for you to check out Asche zu Asche live in Paris it’s a great song and performance

everyday (meaning: not alle days) is not sunday (meaning: best day in the week, happy day). Not every day are happy, it means.

The song name is actually Alle Tage ist kein Sonntag
The bazzazian remix of this song (Alle Tage ist kein Sonntag / Weinen sollst du )goes really hard! i knew the remix before listening to the original, those two cannot be any different
"Alle Tage" means 'all days' in English.
Every Day is "jeden Tag".
The song is about 100 years old and was written after the 1st World War.
It is a folk song from prussia...Marlene Dietrich,i think, sang it too
@@nicoleeilersstruever4920 Yes, she did, opera singers, too.
👍❤
