Nice "set" Gentlemen!! Jen, great job as always keeping the wheels on the rails!! If I'm honest, I'm really digging the pairing for the myth, the legend that is "Edibles at Night"!!! Rock-on my friends,...rock on!!! I know the frontwoman from a local (Los Angeles) area band that can sing (and play a second bass) if you're interested!! I know she'd be happy to come by, adding a little eye candy to the Edibles!!
A telecaster bass , never heard of it or seen one but I like it , little different , sounds great , definitely thumps , and very well played Tod , great idea to have the demo in situ , and you guys always have such fun , GOTD is always a highlight of the day, thanks guys , and Jen.

Had a '73 just like it...nobody loved those tele basses 20 years ago but me...took me years to find a serious buyer...a guy with a tele custom II...he just loved the full range seth lover bucker...hope they're still married
Just maybe a point for the next gen. interpretation, those two songs didn’t have string bass. In Kelowna the DJ was called Louis Charles Mason and his show was “Generation 71”. I was thrilled by those songs when they were new. The T Rex # had a peddle that really bites and it was easy to play but that song was the ‘only’ one for that. If you ever hit that sound you will know it. Ask Norm.

The pre-72 with the single coil pickup was the reissue of the early 50's P bass. Not this one. But this one is cooler.
I work at edible arrangements, I bought my beloved 1979 fender p bass with the money from that place.
Edit: I mentioned where I worked because of the band name they have.

@@bofuscrapshaw It's really interesting and wonderful to see the show grow from one impressive host to another, keeping a few themes while others emerge, like TT featuring Todd and The Edibles! Mark (and Jen) changed and experimented too over their 700+ shows. I picture Norm sitting back and smiling at all of this just like the rest of us.
