A telecaster bass , never heard of it or seen one but I like it , little different , sounds great , definitely thumps , and very well played Tod , great idea to have the demo in situ , and you guys always have such fun , GOTD is always a highlight of the day, thanks guys , and Jen.

Refreshing to see the brand new "positive vibes" towards the Thumping Thursday episodes! Was so sick and tired of Mark Agnesi's condescending and disparaging anti-bass attitude! Keep up the awesome job Michael and Todd!
Just maybe a point for the next gen. interpretation, those two songs didn’t have string bass. In Kelowna the DJ was called Louis Charles Mason and his show was “Generation 71”. I was thrilled by those songs when they were new. The T Rex # had a peddle that really bites and it was easy to play but that song was the ‘only’ one for that. If you ever hit that sound you will know it. Ask Norm.
I work at edible arrangements, I bought my beloved 1979 fender p bass with the money from that place. Edit: I mentioned where I worked because of the band name they have.

Mark (and Jen) changed and experimented too over their 700+ shows. I picture Norm sitting back and smiling at all of this just like the rest of us.

The pre-72 with the single coil pickup was the reissue of the early 50's P bass. Not this one. But this one is cooler.
