Just did this exact thing to my 2016 a6 high milage I didn't have a blocked dpf but the dpf light kept coming on and off once a week in the last few months.. ordered the 2lr of launch fluid and did everything in the video. Have to say spot on Jimmy made a difference. I sopose prevention is better than cure. I really appreciate your videos. Iv seen quite a few of your videos. Anyway thanks mill 👍
Do we need any scanning tool after/before doing like this. In my Audi A6 TDI ultra 2.0 the dpf message flashed like your scenario. I want to do the same!!
I own an Audi A6 Allroad 2017, I’ve literally just had a full service and MOT as standard each year. Driving home from the garage the glow plug warning light started to flash on the dash and power was reduced. After taking it to the garage this error code was displayed P040300 with regards to the EGR valve. Would you recommend trying this procedure or replacing the whole EGR valve and cooling unit? Many thanks for the video, at least I can locate the part in question in the engine bay.
Hi, I followed all your steps from this video, and I have an Audi A6 C7 2.0 TDI 190 bhp. After I finished cleaning the DPF, I reset the learned DPF values because there was no option to click on, like I replaced the DPF using VCDS. I did a forced DPF regeneration while stationary, which finished very well. I took my car for a ride on the motorway for 20 minutes at 2500 revs, and then I plugged VCDS back in to check the DPF pressure. I had results after all the steps and the test drive. The particle filter differential pressure was 10 hPa on idle/neutral gear. Do you think everything is OK? I look forward to hearing back from you. Regards Patrick
Yes on those engines the low pressure egr valve get blocked with crystallized adblue. . Oh and yes it does feed low pressure egr gases into the turbo intake . Cheers
Teoreticaly it could be possible to clean the egr from the other side also because it is a low pressure egr and it is connected before the turbo from underneath. You would just need to open the valve with the scan tool.
Hi Jimmy addicted on your videos, just subscribed, never seen you work on a Hyundai i40 diesel, drive one last 6 years as a taxi in dublin, no props so far,
Hi, im from Romania, im watching your videos. I have the same problem with an audi a6 ultra c7 2017, and nobody can solve this problem for me. Can i get this solutions in Romania. Thank you and Respect for your job.
Hi Jimmy, is the fluid cleaning the egr cooler when the air sensor is disconnected? Need to try clean the egr cooler but dont have the gun to go in near the sensor so wondering can it be done without that step? Thanks
When your spraying the fluid into the pressure pipe with the engine running do you have the air meter disconnected or is it ok to put the flush through with it connected
Is it best to put the fluid in the dpf when it's warm or cold? Looks like in the video you put it in warm but was that because the customer drove to you? Should I pour it in cold and let it sit there for a while before starting? Which one is better, warm or cold?
Wait until one of the nipples on the sensor gets cracked it kick in regen. Just hope however was there last put the heat shield back on. Lovely outcome that was
If the fault is particulate trap bank 1 - efficiency below threshold doing this doesn’t solve the issue unfortunately, it’s just cleans the cooler for a while. It needs the cooler replacing
Tried your method on the first video on my a6 ultra. Didn't work but code p200200 has been on for a long time. (Cooler blocked for 12 months +) would putting the fluid in from the adblue injector make and difference? Or too much time past ?
has this caused any problems? thinking of tuning and deleting the egr software to clear the fault. Did you need to block the egr at all or its still there?
Hi again. Hope you re going to see this. Have the same model, after yesterday clearing it and reset the light professionally , done also EGR delete and Adblue delete in a very good garage, been told the DPF will regenerate as it should. Do you think I should’ve kept the Adblue running?
No . Its only me that maintains it. I dont want to force regen but I might run some cleaner through and see if the pressure drops . I've been using Jlm product. Had some good luck on certain motors.
Do you know what that foam comes out like pure white .It should not be discolouration because of soot and all dirt from dpf,egr and exhaust? I just done these steps with my audi a6 and same as you I had like white foam not like discolouration like with JLM dpf 2 stage cleaner.

Find this becoming more and more common. Servicing the LP EGR & adblu injector is really a service item now.
Teoreticaly it could be possible to clean the egr from the other side also because it is a low pressure egr and it is connected before the turbo from underneath. You would just need to open the valve with the scan tool.
Basic setting reset values these cars are a head ace all audis mate make sure reset oil dilution or it will come back nice video
Thanks for the tip
Thanks Jimmy for update on that job
Great video.
I’ve had similar issue come up on my Q5 2016 - low pressure EGR blocked with adblue. Would you recommend cleaning it or replacing EGR?
Cleaning is a gamble. 60% success depending how bad the cooler is blocked
Hello. Please tell me, after this procedure the EGR valve is also clean, only the particulate filter was knocked down?
Hi Jimmy addicted on your videos, just subscribed, never seen you work on a Hyundai i40 diesel, drive one last 6 years as a taxi in dublin, no props so far,
Have the same code on my a4, love watching your videos. How much do you charge for this procedure.

Hello mate, are you working around Watford Hertfordshire as well ? I need you
Do you have to reduce the Launch UK DPF cleaner with water or can you go straight from the bottle ?
Yeah it's recommended usually it's 1 part solution and 4 parts de-ionised water. Each brand is different. Always read the instructions at the back
I have a audi a6 3.0 tdi 66reg with a fault code P20EE, is this likely to be Nox sensor issue if do which is more commonly at fault?
Do you know how to change the turbo on audi a6 c7 2016? And even tips on a video to watch 😊
When your spraying the fluid into the pressure pipe with the engine running do you have the air meter disconnected or is it ok to put the flush through with it connected
I do it with the air meter connected as I do want it to flow through the egr
@@ORileysAutos okay so I spray for 5 seconds then wait 15 seconds with engine on high idle yeah
I can see that the soot levels are negative (-7.05) Is this acceptable?

Jimmy boss tell something about audi and vw why they are useing in new models two dpf sensor is working like old or new technology

How much do you charge to clear that code p2002 ?

Stick 4: litres down the Adblue port worth a try
@@ORileysAutos will do thanks for the reply 👍
Did this work ... I have the same issue p200200
Need to get to you from Ireland
Cooler is part of the egr. . Waste of time on the vw.. fwd is a bundle of joy to change. Egr delete on them . Every time. Dpf will regen as it should.
Will the egr continue to block with the delete thinking about getting this?

I've got a head scratcher of a job.... 1.6 vito.. 5g of soot but the back pressure is to high. I dont understand why.

Hi,
Would you tell me what area you cover as a mobile mechanic?

@ORileysAutos I'm for South Yorkshire so a bit far away.
