I test drove this bike and my experience was very similar to yours with regards to the acceleration and handling. The low center of gravity makes it an incredibly nimble bike. Great video!!
Elijah Wheeland In a straight line I'd definitely say so. It also handles great for a cruiser, but probably couldn't keep up with a sport bike in the corners.
Good to see you got the mic setup figured out. Sounds good, now you know how I feel. Sometimes it is hard to figure out what to say. It seems like if you don't think too hard the words just flow. Look forward to more videos. Editing is the most time consuming for me, I keep trying too hard to make it look decent.
Naked Bike Mike Thanks man. You make it look easy. Just getting my feet wet. I agree about not thinking too hard and just letting those thoughts flow. Thanks for watching this newbie vid lol!
Detroit Dizzle yeah lol everyone thinks the octane is the knockoff just cause it came out after but it went into research and development before the scout, that's why it performs so much better even though it's almost a twin, Polaris is trying to buildup the Indian line ASAP so they took the octane design and put it out in a slightly simpler design
strix2035 I honestly haven't been on any roads that were too bad yet so hard to say. It seems to be doing well on the roads I've traveled so far tho. Victory offers upgraded rear suspension, but it's $750ish. I'll update the channel with a better review once I get some more and diverse miles on it
Detroit Dizzle sounds good ! The octane is first on my list P.S you have my sub! I appreciate people that not only respond to there channel but also respond fast👍
strix2035 Also I'll be putting out a more in depth 1000 mile review in the next few weeks. If there's anything specific you want me to address just lmk.
I'm at about my 500mi service; going to see if I can knock that out this weekend. I agree, blast to ride, handles like a dream. I pulled the trigger almost immediately after my test ride; damn fine.

MotoNoob Thanks bro, I sub'd your channel a few weeks ago.
thanks for the review. I love the Octane!
Jim Tom Stimpson Sweet! Thanks for watching. It's a fun and fast bike for sure
I know these things aren't sportbike fast but do you think it will be able to stay with them pretty good.

OMFG the victory octane went into design and production BEFORE the scout, it was just released after.
Jonathan Garzon really?

Good info man! Thanks
Name of exhaust??
How does it handle potholes and rougher roads?
