After Steve Davis and Jimmy White, it is great to see another legend like Stephen still being active in the snooker world after his retirement from competitions.

@@jourdontempleton8771 took the game to a different level brung the more aggressive attacking snooker we see now… it was pick the loose ones off and then open them ..he was the first one that opened the pack as quick as possible and he was very good at it obviously different class in his prime

@@patrickkelly7085 His impact on the sport is undeniable. If we go by strict bean counting then sure, we can perhaps revoke the accolade, but it would be a shame for a handful of frames to be the basis on which to do so.
Stephen asks the right questions and talks about the game in real terms ,so much more interesting than the tv pundits asking the same question over and over again in the studio .Loving the channel,keep it up

Definitely. The TV presenters have never picked up a cue in there life. Stephen is a natural presenter and should be like Match of the day Lineker but for snooker

Hendry such a humble bloke considering he was easily the best snooker player of his generation and maybe even of all time? Also, absolutely love it when he's commentating! He really elevates any game he's commentating on with his passion and insight! Must be hard going from being the best to struggling to make a 50 break but the guy is pure class about it! Someone to learn from!
I'd say Hendry is the GOAT, though Ronnie will pass him this year. He is a great ambassador for the sport though, no doubt about that!

@@jaketew2032 Titles and overall career. Ronny has the same number of World's but he has to one up to really overtake. Which he will.

Peter Ebdon has no place in this sport, lacking skill and choosing to psychological grind someone down doesn’t make for a spectators sport!
@@Handless_handle In his prime though, he was a good player. He would often find entries to attack from opponents safety plays by hitting very difficult shots. Once his potting declined though, he basically resorted to the grind. Not against the rules, but not that great to watch.
A peter ebdon best of 3 would be at least a 5 episode series

This is AMAZING, few frames and a good chat with Stephen Hendry, every snooker a fans dream come true.
This is something Hendry needed to do a long time ago but better late than never from the Snooker legend.The greatest long Potter under pressure I've ever seen in Snooker was Mr.Hendry and he proved how good he can still be still at the beginning of the second frame where he pots the long red and takes the 2 reds away from the black landing perfect on it and he called it before taking the shot.
These two enjoyed each other's company immensely. So nice to see great players outside of tournament play.
just watching Stephen Hendry makes me remember the VHS days and puts a big smile on my face always a legend

Mmm very intresting and personal interview. Found it very useful to hear how you both understood and executed your practice sessions. Quality content 👍🏼. I'm hoping this channel is not abandoned like so many pros have done before. Snooker in the UK and world needs a quality YT channel.

Probably one of the best snooker episodes I've ever seen. I'm 54 and watched a shit-ton of snooker, but this is just right. A couple of snooker legends having a really interesting natter over a table. Amazing content. Hendry the relentless WC winning machine vs Hendry the affable pundit - are they the same person!? 😉

i always support the underdog in any sports competition. I recall Hendry saying the opposite that he supports the favorite which took me back a bit. :-) Is that what makes a champion? I therefore expected an arrogant sort of bloke but the exact opposite. Modest even self effacing and still willing to learn from others. No longer that seemingly aloof win at all costs teenage champion but a pleasure to watch/listen to him interview the other champs. Thanks!

These interviews are brilliant and what we’ve needed as fans for a longtime
Having the camera move around so you get the perspective of being there and observing the shots is what is special. You can learn a lot more this way. Try to get more input about what the player is attempting with the cue ball and how close they come.

I'd avoided these videos for a while, for no particular reason other than I suspected they'd not be particularly interesting. This is the fourth one now that I've watched over the last two days - very much more interesting than I'd imagined, and it's nice to get some insight into the players away from their professional environment. I've no doubt I shall be watching more, thanks for setting this series up.

Wonderful to see a bit of snooker banter and looking forward to future guests. Relaxed vibe and even longer if players could handle that. Great guest would be ebdon for the psychology, get the older greats on first like Jimmy and Steve whilst they're still mobile!

Excellent content.Reminds me of when I was a little kid sitting in the pool room listening to the adults talk and play snooker. except you guys know what you're talking about. You signed my cue when you and Jimmy White visited Toronto back before the pandemic. Still have to show it to the guys I play with.

Lucky enough to have watched Neil practise with his dad Ian at Cuesports in Knox city in Melbourne (was an interesting place I’m sure people who went there back in the day would know). Ian also nice enough to give me some coaching there when I was hanging around meant to be in school. Got a cheeky game of pool with Neil when his dad went to get lunch sometimes
I love the way Stephen get so much good chat out of the players, they seem very relaxed with him and it makes for brilliant interviews. You just don't see snookers players in this way. Great channel
Amazing work, truly amazing...❤ love to see players on their practice table. please include questions about players equipments i.e. their cues (cue tip size, cue manufacturers, cue weight and size etc), whats kind of chalks do they use or prefer.
its really awesome, wonderful and lucky for us to know more about our favorite players and their snooker life on this platform.
Stephen and John Virgo are commentary legends together, Stephens experience and John's "commentators eye" are the best pairing on TV......
Virgo is totally overrated as a commentator.

Can I just say it because you deserve it: your videos are absolutely amazing. I wasn’t much of a fan of yours when you were a player (you seemed to cold and Nordic). But obviously, part of that you were too good while I was cheering for Ronnie & Neil. The videos and your new passion - really fun to watch from beginning to end. If you ever come to Kazakhstan - the hotel and flights are on me.

I like Ronnie, but for me, your domination in the 90s is unparalleled in the sport, many thanks for the brilliant entertainment.
Aside from being wonderful snooker players, Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis have something else in common. Perhaps because of their single-minded dedication to the game in their glory years, they came across as somewhat taciturn. Then when they got older they loosened up and became such engaging characters. It’s funny how that often happens in sport. Great channel.
