Now that we know Lapiz Lakeside is coming, what are you doing to prepare?
I'm kind of torn. I want to get my Espeon, but I also want to evolve my new Mime Jr who just needs one level. I've already swapped my pokemon team a bit to get some ings. maybe I can trade off Gengar for a day or two. It's a tough choice! lol.
I'm just trying to unlock it, I'm only 19 Sleep Styles away from the pre-req, and if I make it I'm just going to use my normal Berry Monsters even though they aren't type specific to the island to see how good they do.
as it will reset the power to 0 it's not a good idea to use a travel ticket. but what could be useful is to do the whole week on the previous island and then take a nap on Sunday or sleep 8h30 to get the spawn + bonus biscuit then to use the travel just for the 5% just before the new week start.

Hi I’m the person that just commented on the video from the day before lol. I probably should have watched this video too. But I think the incense will work on Lapis after the event, because they spawn there naturally.
Also from the Japanese post, it says you can do the event on GG or Lapis
It would make sense for them to still work on Lapiz, so you're probably correct.
Mr. Rime would evolve from Galarian Mr. Mime so I’d assume Kanto Mr. Mime is unlikely to get the evolve option. Personally, I wouldn’t invest in Mr. Mime since it has the same ingredients list as Victreebel. For Lapis Victreebel is better because Durin is a stronger berry than Mago. In fact even Cheri berry is better than, and it’s faster than Mr. Mime with a better ingredients rate as well. Mago in terms of base strength.
I’ll probably switch over to Lapis on Friday to get a head start on trying for the new mons before the event. Though it’s definitely not something I’d recommend lol. It’s better to switch on Sunday after an afternoon long nap. You’ll bring down the weekly sleep grade due to different midpoint but it’s not that big a deal tbh. I’m super excited for Lapis Lakeside!
All fair points. But the question is, how will Select Button handle the regional evolutions since we don't have regions in Sleep like in the mainline series. Definitely looking forward to Lapiz, just trying to have a good spread of ingredients to be able to adapt to different recipes.
@@LamboSleepsI wouldn’t be surprised if they just added the regional variants as separate spawns, but using the same candy as the original version. Pokemon Go did that and that doesn’t have regions either, except in the case of Pokemon that only spawn in certain parts of the world.
I hope during the event that these new pokemon are frequent too.

Oh, I'm sure they will. Exactly how they'll go about is the really intriguing question.
I just hope the pokemon are easy to show up on greengrass. And not, show up for maybe 2-3 days and then poof for the rest of the week. That's been my problem during these "increased spawn rate" events. I hope since it'll e an event that any sleep we get will be counted as balanced. That way its an even chance to get all three.
From the wording of what I've read, I took it to mean that the spawn rate on Greengrass would be the same as their normal spawn rate on Lapiz. While their spawn rate on Lapiz during the event would be increased. But it's possible I've misinterpreted what was meant.
im actually torn between wanting to go to lapis and staying at greengrass.
for one, my greengrass is already at 50%. so I might as well build 10% on lapis if I do unlock it by the 25th as i have 11 sleep styles to go. then again, it'll be super hard to get a good amount of spawns there, especially because it'll be harder than snowdrop. what do u guys think?
That is a hard call. And it really depends on what rank you think you can get Snorlax to, in my opinion.

Has your luck changed since you left free-to-play and paid for the premium pass?
It seems to have gotten slightly worse lol. But only just slightly, so I'm sure it's easily attributed to RNG.
I know how many sleep styles i need, but idk how many i have, how can i tell?
You can tap your profile icon in the top left of the main menu, it'll be the 2nd stat under "Research Records"
