Ive scoured the internet for golf instruction and what ive learned from Stan has been the best so far. Also an incredible player - i read that a couple years ago he shot a 69 at pebble beach (with parkinsons).
Another great guest! I'm wondering how much Stan Utley and Joe Mayo agree / disagree on? I learned so much from your interview with Joe Mayo (AND, Viktor's interview discussing what Joe Mayo taught him). It would be interesting to hear Stan and Joe together!
Great interview guys with the man Stan! So glad to hear he's still able to play! Thanks Stan for all the videos and books you've made, it's really helped my game a lot! Good health to you all.
Have you ever considered a Q&A segment addressing questions submitted by your viewers and listeners? Here's one I have: I did a thorough (brand agnostic) fitting last summer and now have a full bag of G430 clubs that I absolutely love. Almost by default, the G430 wedges (45, 50, 54, 58) were included. I asked my fitter about using dedicated wedges instead and he didn't really have an answer. So, can you address the difference between using wedges that match the iron family versus dedicated wedges like the s159 or Glide?
This is a great question. It depends on what you're looking for out of a wedge. The G430 wedges will offer the benefits of the G430 line and a smooth transition from an appearance perspective. But, if you're looking for a bit more versatility out of your wedges, the s159 wedges would be a good choice given the different grind options depending on your fit.
This man fixed charles barkleys swing...hes a superhero
