    Love the detailed explanation of the iron sets, and of this podcast in general. I’m getting fitted for new clubs in a few weeks, and am looking forward to a new set of Ping woods and irons!

    Are the hosels also forged on both models or just the face? I only ask in case lofts or lies need minor tweaking to fine tune after receiving your set. Great video!

    I really loved this episode with only one exception. The Co-Pilot sounds great but it was frustrating to hear all the talk about it when it's only available to fitters. The retail fitting site is nice but for those of us with significant experience on launch monitors the Co-Pilot sounds so nice. It's disappointing to hear so much about it knowing I can't access it.

    I was blindly handed the T at a fitting. The moment it came off the club face I was wowed. After playing Mizuno blades for 20 years, I have NEVER felt a ball come off the face like that. Look is one thing, the feel.....insanity. Can I pull the trigger on a set? Hesitant. Why? I keep hearing "you need to be an elite ball striker" or the fact that not one pro seems to run a full set (and I think they are qualified as "elite"). Who am I to put myself in that category? I am thrilled to see the co-pilot. Fact is, unless you are a pro, you can not go and demo/test all these clubs in various numbers. Thinking that you can make all those choices off a 7 iron is a hard ask. Especially when, for example, on the S, the 6 iron is pretty different than the 5. There is more offset, bounce and feel. Making that call blind and or figuring it out after, hmm. The insight about small face means small miss, I guess with the T if you just hit the ball, you're pretty close to the sweet spot 😜. I'd say dump the mindset that blades are too hard, not for you etc. and Ping and or fitters can back off on the constant messaging that these are for only the best of the best (they keep it up and no one will ever buy one) . I say, go hit the T and feel it. It is life changing. I could not wait to hit another ball and have that feeling again. Will I have that feeling in a 6,5,4 iron......let's see what the Pilot has to say.

    Do all of your fitters that are recommended, have access to ping copilot? Looking forward to getting fit into some blueprints!

      Thank you for your question. To find a fitter, please use our Find a Fitter tool on our website. If available, Co-Pilot will be listed under PING technology. You can access the tool at the following link: ping.com/en-us/find-a-fitter

    Ordered the 3and 4 iron in February for some reason the order wasn't processed because I asked for x100 soft stepped and they wouldn't be available till June it's now June and I have been told they will be here next week that's five months for two clubs now that's laughable tired to ordering the rest of the set 5 to PW on Monday and was told it would be September before they would be ready because I have asked for them to be soft stepped as one of the biggest companies in golf I don't understand why there's a problem or is only the pros who count.I did also asked about upgrading the shafts to tour issue s400 and was quoted £ 75 per club well that's a definite no when other manufacturers offer no charge or an extra £140 which I would be willing to pay

    I miss the offset and thin sole of the Zing 2 on a forgiving profile.

    The i59 seemed to be a dud. What do you think was the issue with that iron?(sorry to be negative but I went back to my S55s)

    • @TheDeepsilver
      @TheDeepsilver 5 месяцев назад

      The construction of the iron was the issue. The inserts and overly complicated makeup didnt help the feel. It also spun so much so that a lot of players lost a ton of distance, even those with a ton of speed. Only thing the i59 had going for it were the looks

      May also be the high cg location they mentioned not delivering the feel they want
