I may not be a goods fanatic, but it’s certainly interesting to see new PTA Wagons. Give me a nice passenger train any day of the week!!

Lovely wagons ... I’ve bought a couple of packs for my WCML layout and they look great behind a pair of Class 87s. Great news as well that Accurascale have announced this week that they will be producing loads for these wagons as well ... I’ve already ordered!

I do like the look of these wagons. Tempted, but only if they would work being pulled by my Class 33 in 90s Construction Sector livery.

Great video. Now I'm tempted to get a rake, and wondering which of my locos would be most suited to them in which livery...

Hang on what’s this about the VTG ones having no inner pack? I thought they were the most modern and probs in use versions no?
I’ve probs got muddled up by the look of it!

One of the first flows for these iron ore tipplers (if not the first flow ) was the run between Immingham Dock and Scunthorpe steelworks. However, this flow was ommitied from the commentary

Did you accidentally slightly reduce the opacity levels of the majority of the talking head clips?

These wagons look excellent, and will need to be considered for my layout when it is fully built, and operational, still trying to decide whether to abandon DC and change to DCC during the build. But I am intrigued by Topley Dale, where is it supposed to be based as the signalling uses both upper and lower quadrant which from my research did not happen as this would have been in different region area's with GWR regions (Western) using lower and all others using upper quadrant. I guess you will however prove me wrong with your research.

I notice that in your rakes you had all the wagons the same way round. I have to say that in the real world, and much to the disgust of my ocd addled brain, there is always one which ends up the "wrong" way round and messes up the appearance of the train! 😊

That does not happen with the BSC ones. One end of each wagon has a rotating coupling allowing each wagon in the rake to be tipped up and emptied without uncoupling. The orange end indicates the end with this special coupling thus insuring there is always a rotating coupling at each connection. Therefore they do not get mixed up as there cannot be one the wrong way around in the BSC trains. If there was it could not be emptied by the tipper. Hope this explains it.

I think they have to all be the same way around because the orange signifies the end with the rotating coupler for when the wagons are tipped when unloading

Very nice. They are a bare slate for weathering and graffiti to look like the real thing.
