This piece was commissioned by the conductor at my high school when I was there. Our mascot was the Falcons, and our school colors were emerald and gold, and I got to be in the first ever public performance of this piece. 2014 ish
@@xaviersantiago4587 ish you idiot, not exactly 2014, this person still could have been in highschool in 2011 if they were in HS in 2014 you dense cabbage.
Oh my goodness the bass line for canon in D is torture. It's just the same 4 measures repeated for what feels like an eternity with some slight variations here & there PLEASE NEVER MAKE ME DO THAT AGAIN I WOULD CRY
I got to play this for my last concert in high school the other day. The viola part is so FUN at least to me. I think I practiced the accidentals for at least 4 hours total
@Jayden Son I, also a violist, played harder stuff than this in seventh grade, but because there are only two freshman orchestras at my high school, I am playing this now. The piece I reference is Ritter suite for strings movement one.
I’m doing this for all region practiced 3 hours per day non stop I think my left hand is numb tho gl to all my fellow all region players hope to see you there
well these are professionals, you have to expect that they’re going to be advanced. i’m sure you play very well and you’ll reach that level of difficulty some day :)
@@JoshCecka ya her name was Amy Meyer but she got married so it was Amy Bruner. Richard meyer would come in and help us and he was at my last 6th grade concert. @t1geres544 Exactly! I am a freshman about to enter high school on Tuesday and I have tried this piece out. I am in the 2nd Top highest Orchestra already there and we play grade 3-4
yeah the bass soloist was kinda ehh, well to put it in better words unprepared. But the violinist, bravo. I try to play that solo and I can't even achieve this man's skill.
You play orchestra? Cause I do and they seemed *amazing* and either way stop hating on a beautiful masterpiece even if there is some flaws. No need for hatred because you keep making comments like that and someone is going to be *PISSED* so stop spreading your useless and unwanted opinion and go home, kid.

Try 2011. 👍👍👍
Wow, that is really cool. We wouldn’t have the budget for that here.
I don’t think my school would care enough about the orchestra for that

MR SHAUWVER
I discovered this song for a school assignment
It may or may not be my new favorite song...
They went hardcore on the solos, well done
This is truly beautiful
Totally!
2:52 to 2:54, look at the facial expression of the bass player on the right, I can't stop laughing
The face that I got was a "god I wish this will end already" face
He really said 🙄

love this piece. Well played. BRAVO
My high school orchastra was going to play this than Corona stopped us but I still have the sheet music I'm a viola player
@Jayden Son u probably have two diffrent orchestras and your probably in the more advanced one or u go to a privet school or my school just sucks

Gonna play this for MPA this year, and also one of our concerts, and I get to play the bass solo for the concert! Such an amazing piece
they play better than me T-T

Now try it with 2x speed on 😃
Why does one of the Cello players look like Ben Rothlisberger LMAO

Imo they should’ve played a tad bit slower it seemed unnatural how fast it was, especially at the solo.
xd no c que decir xd
Lol professionals playing emerald falcon? Seems legit
HE HE Micheal Flores they might just be having fun
Honestly, this piece is actually beautiful. I wouldn't mind hearing professionals play this because they make the music more in depth.

Even though it wasn’t the right note it still sounded really cool
the soloist is kind of rushing lol
The whole piece is being rushed. I think this might be a side effect of them being.... Russian
I wasn't rushed and if you heard the actual song, it's still shorter but Will G LMAO
@@MiriamMartinez-zs5tt I think they exaggerated all the speeds, the fast part is faster, the slow part is slower. But it is definitely being rushed

The only flaw was the bass soloists intonation. The cellos weren’t out of tune at all.
