The one thing i like about these vids is its blokes in the trade speaking down to earth English giving you what you need to know and showing you what to do without all the faf you get when its staged. Love these vids.
Cheers lads. Always thought every tile was nailed on and wondered how it was possible to fix the odd broken one. Can do this myself no bother as I've got scaffolding up at the minute for loft conversion, happy days.
Great vid guys, looks so simple I could do it myself! Had a broken tile fall from my roof, not sure what ones to buy, it's an old cottage, I think it'll be handmade clay tiles!
Great video lads, great tip with the yoghurt! Can it be low fat yoghurt as the missus only eats that stuff? Loving the video boys down to earth. Haven't watched your other long ones yet so looking forward to watching them. Thanks for spending the time to do these videos.
+Mr Herridge Are you talking about replacing a slate tile? if so then follow the same steps as this video but you will require a ripping tool as each slate tile will be nailed so you will need to pull the nail out before you can replace it. And then when replacing the slate tile it self you will have to use a small piece of lead nailed to the batten and then folded at the bottom of the new slate tile. This is to hold the replaced slate tile in as you will not be able to nail it due to access.
+mynameis I think your find that we also said that if its higher up then you should get in the pro's. Common sense should play a big part in this simple task we should of added
