You are watching a snippet of her life. Also Africans do have confinement. Everyone else held the baby but me. I had to recover. I had a c section like Lawu, plus it is natural for the family to fawn over the new born. Please know different black people have different rituals that they follow. You think she is not smiling because she is being shown so much support? It didn't occur to you she could be in physical pain? This concept of 'taking over' is a western one. Also, again, this is a snippet.

The baby is so beautiful, but I notice they always carry him. Once he use to being carry, the baby will cry all the time when you let him on the bed.

When i gave birth to my baby i didn't have any one to help me with my baby i have to make food for myself ,wash the baby ,with my operation s still paining . I think lawu is blessed to have people to help him around but I think they should give her time to bond with her baby. It's a little bit too much

I know the mother in law does all traditional confinement for the good of Lawu but some are outdated already.Lawu is from Tanzania country you should let her do what their country does and she will be a happy and will look forward to have another baby in future.Don’t over react and stress her out and she will be depressed and unhappy.Don’t impose too many rules.

Feli already told all busy bodies that they also do confinement . It is not just a Chinese culture. African cultures do it too. In my culture people do not even see the baby until after two weeks - one month.

I never see Luwu with the baby. She needs time to bond with the baby. I know it’s only few minutes we are privileged with but, let’s see her and the baby as well.
According to the Chinese culture, she has to sleep, eat, and breastfeed the baby during her healing period. Lawu being so shy and private will not allow the cameraman to film her breastfeeding her son. After her healing period, you will see a different Lawu. I think she has put on some weight.❤️

MamaCreation@Faux,Rose elle au contraire elle est toujours avec sa fille qui vient de naître.Pourtant ses amies viennent à la maison pour lui donner un coup de main avec le bébé.Rose est une femme vive , indépendante, malgré son récent accouchement,elle a repris les affaires, travaille avec acharnement avec son mari.Je suis désolée de dire cela,les fans de Lauwi vont pas être contents,mais je trouve cette jeune femme manque de vigeur ,assez lente lorsque elle doit effectuer des travaux.Je me rappel d'une scène où Lauwi aidait son mari en cuisine ,face à sa lenteur ,le mari s'était occupé de faire le boulot.Phili est une femme vigoureuse dans son travail à la maison et dans son bisness.Elle va voir les gens de son village pour leur apporter leur aide : nourriture, vêtements,petites réparations,...Le mari de Phili a un bon poste dans les affaires,il assure sa famille.Bientôt,Phili et sa famille auront leur maison.Beaucoup de fans de Lauwi trouvent ça magnifique ce côté conte de fée,la famille toujours là pour l'aider et faire en sorte que Lauwi fasse le moins d'effort possible .Je trouve
la grand-mère un peu trop envahissante et autoritaire qui veut toujours dire à Lauwi quoi faire.

In these few months she's gotten married, moved in with in-laws, had to learn a new language and had a baby and home sickness!!! My goodness that is a lot of changes for anyone to process! Rose and Feli have been in China for years! They surely had to adjust in those years and have now settled into the culture and way of life. Let's be gracious to others instead of just judging them.

Why can't Lawu wear short sleeves?What does that have to do with her healing process ? Please dont give the baby too much water he is too young. Y'all are too loud around the baby while he's sleeping and passing him around . Nobody is sanitizing their hands, especially when you're changing his diaper.
@valeriabell6991 (as a Chinese Medicine practitioner) I think the long sleeves are for keeping her body warm, because giving birth cost a lot of her Qi, she also needs that Qi to produce milk for the baby, so when keeping her arms and whole body warm (connected meridians), she doesn't have to use extra energy/Qi to warm her body, but te use it for her own healing and for the baby. That is the most practical thing I can think of. In Chinese medicine cold and wind can cause damage. And I agree with you, they are so loud around the baby, it's like invading that gentle ethereal energy that surrounds a baby.

Amor demais tb sufoca, a espectativa de um novo ser em casa foi muito grande, eis o resultado, o bebe nao descansa, sempre de mão em mão no meio de tanto barrulho, Law não está mais feliz como estava quando grávida, o bebê ja nasceu para o familia do marido e não para ela, mas creio que eles nao façam por mal, de certeza nem notaram ainda, o confinamento deve estar a fazer mal a Law, em Africa dura apenas uma semana, cuidado com a depressão pós parto.
