I don't bother with charity shops anymore never find anything in them, anything they get of any value goes straight on ebay.

I was in Planet yesterday just picking up a few comics, I rarely buy them but I'm reading a couple stroies atm :)
and going Cex tomorrow to get cash for the bad Call of duty modern war 3 game.
Online is good and fun, tho it's not enough for me to feel like keeping. Need a 2 year break from cod.

Since more local CEX stores have opened over the years Rathbone and TCR don't really get a lot traded in. In the early 2000's Rathbone had so much quality stuff including import games and consoles. I only pop in there if I'm passing by now as it's pretty sparse for my collecting needs (PS3).
shame they lost alot of retro in a flood in the basement years ago.
I remember it always been over stocked with retro and the cabinets would be full of rare games!!
i am picking up some sealed ltd edition 2ds and 3ds consoles this week not cheap.

Hi Scott, been a long time follower and love your content. Just something in particular with this video, when you was in the shops there was constant flickering, prob down to the lighting. I had to skip past these parts as I wasn't able to keep watching. Keep up the great content though!
Thanks for the feedback James, unfortunately the lighting in certain shops cause the flicking which is frustrating, sorry for any issues and thanks for watching and supporting much appreciated
@@ScottsRetroCollectables what camera you using? It may have an anti-flicker setting you can set to auto which detects and adjusts the frame rate. Might only be on the newer action cams though.

Forbidden Planet isn’t as good as it used to be. It’s mostly just a tonne of that crappy funko pops. I avoid the place now and used to go in my local one all the time
When this one was on Oxford street was amazing but I think that was pre 2000s
Lol clearly don't watch any of my pick ups, as I picked up reload on the wii recently. Basically a wii zapper game shooting pop up targets. Only joking can't watch everyone. My last video showing horror films I did leave a link to your Halloween special. 👍🕹🎮
