- When Curly's time came, he would leave the earth surrounded by his devoted herd. Time and time again, contrary to the assumptions of certain scientists, we learn that animals can anticipate the future, delay gratification, dream, play, use language and tools, and do everything else that some thought they couldn’t do. If this isn’t evidence of a cow’s sentience I don’t know what is. He passed the way all beings should, surrounded by love. ❤️❤️
VERY sad, but VERY touching. THIS is how animals should always be allowed to live (and die) and I hope someday people will realize how much soul and how much intelligence is there if we would only SEE it.

The wisdom of these lovely Animals is clear to be seen,I'm glad he lived his remaining years in peace and died in a peaceful manner,unlike the thousands that face a terrible death everyday, how frightened and scared they must be.Thankyou for being so kind to them.

He's lucky to have been cared for by such wonderful people and loving cow family. I'm glad he got to enjoy the last part of his life. I don't feel sad for him, because he had a better death than many people have.

I think my vegan amigos who opt for sanctimony end up pushing people away. There has to be another way to show people.
No one ever changed my mind via many of the tactics used to exhort people to be vegan.

Cattle are herd animals and are curious animals . They surrounded the ill one out of curiousity
How do you know that for certain? You can't communicate with cows and know what they are feeling! I remember when a friend's cat got hit by a car while he was out of town. Apparently his other cats sat in the street with the dead cat all weekend and almost got themselves run over. Don't underestimate the compassion of animals just to reduce them to objects to be just used by humans.
@@hellokitty524 Cattle do not have feelings , they have instincts . They are also curious animals . On those rare occasions when one of the herd is ill it usually moves to the edge of the herd and lies down . Sometimes other herd members will approach it , sometimes they will attack it . The latter is a self preservation instinct. Herd animals do not want a weak or ill member to attract preditators
@@mike02439 - That is interesting. Well, it probably is better not to debase animals at this point, because if we debase animals we debase ourselves. The powers that be talk about "herd immunity" with regard to illness. Apparently, this herd that we are part of doesn't want a weak or ill member. We are also being treated as lab rats at the moment. It is all very demoralizing.
