  • Emma calf had been left on a roadside to die following a hit and run. Her back right leg was too injured to be repaired, so the bottom portion was amputated to give her the greatest chance of survival. After four months of loving care and rehabilitation, her wound has almost fully healed, her pain is gone and she is settling in to her new home. Cattle raised out on the range for beef are typically frightened of humans, but having been through so much with her human friends already, Emma is trusting and friendly. Life with three legs? Bring it on. Emma is ready.
Transformations like Emma’s are possible because we give each animal our very best. We are here for them, every day, because our supporters put compassion first.
