I just love your backyard because you and Brent have so many vignettes which lead your eyes throughout the yard.
I have acacia wood garden furniture in the UK, it’s stored under a tarp in winter but is out in all weathers through spring, summer and autumn, it’s lasted more than 10 years. When the original coating started to wear off I sanded and oiled it, now just wipe on a coat of furniture oil in spring and it’s good to go.
You have just the right amount of seating and ornamentation in your garden. It's the little things that make our garden special and inviting.

Your teak bench is nice. As a sailor, our boat was teak and its a great wood. Boats are stained, at least ours was.

Freya loves you! I had a German shep female the police wanted to train because one noticed how much she loved jumping into cars. We had adopted her from an old couple who must have mistreated her because when the fishermen at our lake swung their strings of fish, she would leap at their throats, never hurting them though. So, when the police asked for her, we gave Duchess to them. She was the first female older dog they had ever trained and she came out first in her class. She had the run of the house with her officer. But I do love GS, they are wonderful family dogs. I don't have a Freya symbol but you said there was one I would love to have. Your patio set under the gazebo I see all over French gardens

I have this exact same bench in unfinished natural. It’s not actual teak which is heavy and expensive but asian ‘teak”. They usually substitute another wood, in this case it’s eucalyptus (as stated in the description on amazon) much softer than real teak. I have it in hot sun in zone 6b/7a where it is humid and also rains a bunch, so I sealed the bench with a heavy duty wood sealer, but it didn’t last in the sun and just peeled off. The wasps are also drawn to it as they use wood pulp to build nests. I am going to try to paint it with black outdoor paint and this should solve my problems and make it last.

I think you should paint the bench a shade lighter than your fence. This way the t won’t completely soak up the heat.

Very nice. My favorite is the folding bench and the unique pot feet. The Walmart seating set is really pretty. Love the subtle gray color.. and great cushions! Enjoying your outdoor space is everything in the summer

I have that same trellis and love it. The only problem I’ve had is that mine is mounted on a west-facing wall and the metal gets so hot that it burns the leaves on my plants. I first tried clematis and then switched to a climbing rose.
I also wonder if you could talk about how you’re thinking of incorporating a mirror into your garden. That idea had never occurred to me.

Great video for the viewers during the hot summer Robbie. Could you take us to the Pottery fountain place where they had tons of outdoor fountains. BTW a few weeks ago might have been during a back yard tour I wanted to say you had a view with the bistro set view with lots of color including the fence and finch house, and I went WOW! that's the money shot! Robbie…….You should know that Gardener’s Supply has accumulated hundreds of complaints about taking orders and not shipping them. I am one of those customers who ordered from them and never received the items…..which happened to be 2 of the trellises you showed in your video. I ordered them in May and have heard nothing. Their phone wait time to customer service is anywhere from 60-90 minutes and they don’t respond to emails. So many people are asking what has happened to this company because they used to be good. Anyway…..before you promote them on your channel, might be best to check the complaints for yourself. Love your channel!
