Feed the World - Previously Unseen Footage of Band Aid Rehearsals (1984)

On 25 November 1984, ITN interviewed Bob Geldof at Sarm West Studios in Notting Hill as he assembled his all-star cast of the biggest names in pop music to record the charity Christmas single, Do They Know It's Christmas? ITN's cameras also captured some wonderfully candid footage of Geldof teaching the song to his collaborators, and a large family photoshoot featuring... wait for it... A trip down memory lane. This was a tiny spark of light during my dark very unhappy teenage years. And to think it was to help those worse off than myself too.
He did some good things back then Geldoff did. Without this first move there would’ve been no comic relief or sport aid later on. Left a legacy for sure.

Ohhh!!! I’d love more of this!!! I watched the Making of Band-Aid probably hundreds of times as a teen!! This BTS footage is always so much fun and gives a glimpse of how real these “stars” were!
