      Don't forget his batting average is rising up to .309 right now. He never had been hitting that high in 2021-2022. His hitting is getting better and better. In 2021, his homerun pase dropped after AllStar game. But this year, he will probably maintain the homerun pase.

    I'm still salty about last years MVP. And not because Judge won it, he was as deserving as Ohtani even if I thought Ohtani should have won it. What really pissed me off is that it was almost unanimous, 28-2 first place votes, which tells me that Yankees hype and thinly veiled american homerism really tipped the scaled. Had Ohtani been the american guy playing for the Yankees and Judge been the foreigner playing for some other team I don't think there would have been such a wide gap in voting.

    Greatness is never NORMAL. Shohei is an anomaly. He is an advanced athlete and highly wired & skilled player. What he does simply comes natural to him while the rest have to work harder at it.

      @@feynmanschwingere_mc2270he still is the goat🤣 ohtani isn’t that good of a hitter in terms of all time greats. His best season ever (this year) currently ranks 223 all time in terms of OPS. Bonds himself has 9 better hitting seasons than ohtani’s best 🤣 get a grip

    There is no way anyone can convince me that Babe Ruth who played in an era of segregated baseball where the best Latin & Black players were excluded and where the hardest throwing pitchers topped out in the high 80s low 90s & having the benefit of a higher mound was a better all around player than Ohtani.

    • @Dre2Dee2
      @Dre2Dee2 Год назад

      I would argue that Babe was a better power hitter, because he was born with a perfect swing. He used a gigantic bat and he hammered the baseball in an era where a home run was a HOME RUN, they've brought the fences in since then.
      In every other aspect? Babe can't touch him

    OHTANI with a team Like the DODGERS or a consistent contending team will CEMENT his status as the BEST player bar none. The protection he gets in a line up and having an all around all star fielding team will absolutely skyrocket his results. A sit is he is the best. Its crazy when you watch him bat its like a lethal hitter then as a pitcher he is elite.
