I’ve noticed a problem with a lot of the fords with the dial 4wd, is most owners don’t know how to engage it. They don’t know to put it in neutral went going down to 4Lo. I had to teach several down here how to do it after they got stuck. Guess what, after the 4wd was engaged, they got out on their own.
Airing down makes a big difference. At 4:07-410 you can see and hear that Fords traction control kick in. Last time I went out there people were looking at me like I was crazy for letting air out of my tires. I stopped at three mile cut and saw a similar show.

people don't realize the sand is soft, its common knowledge if you're into off roading or go the beach often... but for your weekend beach goer it doesn't cross their mind

god its been almost 10 years since ive been to Matagorda, ive never seen it like the wild west at the entrance lol. but i never go to the beach Fri-Sun.
it's fun watching 4x4 trucks with 40, 50, 80psi in their tires getting stuck at the beach :) ...heh, beach sand .. you should see these same drivers out at the sand dunes LOL

Yep! Always f250s getting stuck there. Hell they get stuck on wet grass.
