For those of us who have long since passed the age when such things are possible we collectively give you a huge THANK YOU. Your adventures take me back 40 years when I did such things myself. But no more. Enjoy it while it lasts. Time is mysterious in how it vanishes so quickly. You’re an honor to your generation and you’ve done yourself proud. I’ve watched all of your videos and I’ve observed how you’ve continued to perfect your fishing, filming, and editing. It’s really top shelf stuff. Fantastic work! You’ve reached a level of perfection only attained by very few others in the fly fishing genre. Well done!!!

Wow! What an amazing trip. It is incredible that you can walk up a river until it peters out and you still have monster trout. Just unbelievable fish!! Thanks for all the blisters. Your video made my week.
Hi Alex, what can I say that hasn’t been said by everyone else? Fantastic fishing and photography as well as the editing. Congratulations and thanks. You need to have another good think about feet care, blisters are not a natural injury but more of a lack of due care and attention. Take note from an old soldier, look after your feet and you will get to the next bend in the river of life. Cheers mate. Haere rā .
@@TrippinOnTrout Hi Alex, just remembered that we use to carry a “Housewife” in our kit that had needles, safety pins, cotton, silk thread etc. When we got a blister we threaded a needle with some cotton, pierced the blister with the cotton (not actually into the blister but a few mm just before and after the blister) forming a tunnel through which the fluid in the blister can escape. The double thread of cotton acts like a wick allowing the moisture to escape and lets the top skin dry and the new skin evolve and whole lot does not get infected. This is nothing new as the Roman Legionaries must have used it. I picked up the idea in Africa from a Légion étrangère soldier and has stood me in good stead all my life. So, I can guarantee that it works. Cheers mate, and keep those out of the way fishing trips going, you are showing us a part of NZ most of us never see. Keep safe. Harera
