Tonight’s tale of terror is both parts of the epic ‘Whiskey in the Jar’, a wonderful story by Michael G. Lockhart, AKA BearLair64, kindly shared with me via my sub-r-ddit and narrated here for you all with the author’s express permission:

Im a Irish man living in a rural part of Ireland, my cottage is in a forest I love listing to your story's while staring at the stars each night and the dark forest that surrounds my home.

you know, I always liked the idea of Irish werewolves being a part of the Cu chulainn myth, as a punishment for killing Culanns hound.

Good evening Doctor, and good evening all. Hope you are all having a great Monday evening / morning / afternoon, whatever it is in wherever you happen to be. I tried listening to one of your narrations last night, can't remember which one it was, but I had to start it again 5 times because it kept sending me off to sleep even though I was actually trying to stay awake at first. You just have an incredible talent / gift for making people sleep, I know it's not just me that you have the effect on. I suspect now, the time has passed for that sort of thing, but 20 years ago you could have made a fortune selling a range of 'relaxation tapes'!
No doubt. I love horror, but his voice puts me down. I legit try to stay awake, but it never happens .

Well, I used the Irish spelling for Padraigh - the song was possibly/partially inspired by a highwayman named Patrick Flemming (I used Flemming for the steward) - not sure what other GOT names are in it, just common folk names from the mid-17th Century. Funny though, I've just finished watching Season 5 for the umpteenth time.... (no Jons or Sams, or Neds, or Brans... Hmmm... ) - Thank you for taking a listen and I hope that you enjoyed it
