Him f=great show, thank you. I converted a Rectangular Bass Case, flipped it over, use the bottom as cover, switched latches. Now my 3 pedal boards in these cases. Also pu a piano hinge and a tilting base, all cables run under through holes. Buddy laghed at it, but then asked me to do one uo for him. Plenty of room, looks like a normal guitar case. Be well my friend

What does the mod on the Fender Blender do?

I brought it back to vintage spec! Basically, the reissues had some issues with drastic volume loss (for some reason there was an extra resistor added in the reissues that accounts for this) and the tone switch was actually wired incorrectly from the factory (according to the original vs. Reissue schematic anyways). I returned it to the original schematic and also swapped transistors with some NOS vintage correct transistors…I basically turned the reissue back into a vintage original and it makes a HUGE difference.

I bought one back in 2004 or 2005 when they were first reissued, and I was crushed when I had to turn everything up to 10 to barely get it back to unity gain. Have you had a chance to try out the new Shields Blender version to see if it stacks up against your modded version? The Kollaps sounds great btw.
