Crystal Springs #48 Heisler is amazing!❤️ They all are beautiful to me. Thank you Nate.
So many cool engines! Can’t imagine how much this stuff costs to have and maintain. Thanks for sharing man
Thanks Too Railroad, I watch some of your videos. All nicely done, just I hope you decide on a final design, haha. Thanks for commenting.
Excellent shot. Like!🤩!

Great video, thanks for posting.
Great shot of the fairbanks!
Hey Zach, I’ve seen you around, never got a proper introduction though.
This place is the best. It makes me want one of those locomotives really bad.
You and me both. Maybe one day…
Thanks Nate, would like to see you catch a meet at Riverside Live Steamers
I’ve been before a few years back. I’ll see what I can do.
ik this came first but this reminds me of LALS on the rss
Hello nate I am a member at LALSRM and I diden't acutely know you where their but im in this video lol
Good to know. I’ll see you around whenever I go to the meets.
Is this that train place by Griffith Park and the LA Zoo? Always wanted to stop by there.
Yes, this is it. So worth a visit. They have public train rides every Sunday.
The out of focus fades are a tad annoying. Otherwise very well done.
Thank you, I will take note.
Where can I buy my own engines & rolling stock
I will be making a video in the near future about that very topic. There are many different places and options, which I will cover.
generally you build them
My wife asked, "What do these steam trains burn? Actual coal or something else?
Yes actual coal is used the other type used in steam is propane
Steam locomotive at this scale burn propane, coal, and diesel. Some even are wood fired. Propane is the easiest and very common.
@@nates.vintage.trains Thanks!
Thanks for the replies. Episode idea : look at the different energy sources of these trains. I imagine electric is gaining ground with better battery tech.
Not a bad idea. I’ll do that after all of the meet content for this fall has been uploaded.
