It's more of a sign that the voice actor is having a hard time to keep the voice high.
But yeah I've noticed that (had to watch videos first since I played it on CN dub).
I sure do hope that the voice actor keeps it this way and not the unnecessary straining high pitched act.

Just realized that technically Neuvilette had to sentence a Mélusine and further showed how impartial he was and Sigewinne was shown to be treated like any citizen. Like an equal to humans.

From what I remember Wriothesly killed his parents after they would adopt children and sell them or something. Kind of like the promise neverland

her story quest actually hits hard for me... people's judgment to you can differ based on your looks. i feel sorry for her and potton, and somehow relate to them in some way. one of my fav story quest, no doubt. it indirectly reflects on real world's condition as well in these days where your looks can determines your worth and capability in people's eyes.

The saddest part is when you realize that the desease that Sigewinne's Master tried to cure was The dissolution syndrome by Primordial water, it is very likely that she realized that find a cure for that desease was the key to avoid the profecy. She was like the Narzissenkreuz Ordo members, she gave her life trying to avoid the profecy even experimenting with her own body to develop a cure until her death, when she decided to sacrifice herself to create the potion for Sigewinne after not finding said cure (the miracle).
But her apprentice went on to play a big role in condemning the hydro archon as guilty and executing Focalors, granting neuvillette the authority to “cure” their condition for good
So her efforts were not in vain after all!

I mean, it was pretty obvious she was most likely centuries old. Melusines are a long-lived race compared to humans. I wasn't that surprised and even though Sigewinne is adorable af, she gave me older sister vibes to Wriothesley. xD But, I can understand why people saw Wrio as a fatherly figure to Sigewinne.

Sigewinne is old generation melusine born same era with the first generation melusine come to live in fontaine so she must be at least 400 year old
Melusines have long lifespans. Judging by Sigewinne's story, she has been already living at the time where melusines still faced discrimination at the hands of the Fontainians (which is quite ironic considering that they themselves aren't humans). Except for Neuvillette and Furina (before her curse was revoked), almost all playable characters there are yet to be born.
Try to pay attention next time. Media literacy is already on the verge of extinction here.
Some reason I got a sigh of relief knowing that the witch (Doctor/Teacher of Siegewinne) isn't part of the hexenzerkiel (whatever how you type it). That'd be one step of a line from a "lore" bomb my guy. Anywho i'm more glad this story quest isn't as "sad" as others (not that it was sad to begin with) and more "calm".
Though I have to say, I agree with people's complaints about how the excuse to make her look human is so that "the banner will sell more for players". Well that's Asia players for you i guess, the diversity of overseas.
That, or HoYo will need to make an entirely new model to match how Melusines are designed...one of them once said that it's hard to grab a pencil (Or pen ?)
This just my own thought but the problem with genshin is probably they coded the game to only have only limited model from the begining and add more will make it break or somethin, like im sure its not that hoyo didnt want to make new model like if u see hoyo newer game like zzz u can see the 3d model diversity and even in star rail we get like 3 typer male and 4 types of female model
Relief? I was disappointed… Lore bomb is the only good kind of bomb. And idk what story you played, but the guy whose mom died did not deserve any of this. It was tragic in a hopeless, oppressive way, nothing “calm” about it. I also wanted Sigewinne to be an actual reformed criminal, not another “did something totally understandable but felt bad about it.”

Yes, it's been fluctuating lately. The VA's voice may be getting tired from having to put up such a high-pitch, as Paimon yaps a lot in this game.
That, or they're purposely deciding to slowly make her voice less grating on the ears.
