Sir what are your views on Python vs Java in 2024? i work in Python and use Data frames for DB Validations. Python can handle UI and API testing also. I feel Data Structures are also very easy in Python.

as per my research in 2023, there are much vacancies on java compared to python but the competition also very high and there are less opportunities for python compared to java but the competition also low so i would say both are good to choose however if you have already knowledge in programming like knowing c language then you can go with java and later you can easily learn python because the future is python and if you wanna choose easy one then go with python.

why do you guys struggle with which language to use with selenium? I don't believe everyone would start to build a framework from scratch. Most of the time, it is just about how to locate the web element, how to wait for the page loading to finish. don't worry too much about the maintenance. Using popular frameworks, that's not a big problem.
